A former enlisted man, I’ve never had a great deal of regard for Brass Hats, and, with all due respect to former B.H. Colin Powell, I haven’t trusted him at all since he paraded out of the closet for Barack Obama in 2008, revealing thereby an individual for whom pigmentation unfortunately trumped principle. I also believe that, left to his own devices in 1990, Powell (“the very model of a modern major-general”) would have turned Operation Desert Storm into something more resemblant of desert drizzle. So I was not particularly surprised when the former Secretary of State and JCS chairman, flanked by the menopausal harridans hired by ABC to ruin the mornings of normal people, showed up on The View shilling for the Ground Zero mosque (Cordoba House Project). Former General Powell said, “they (the terrorists) win if we become terrified and we act in a different way from the way Americans should act. The important principle is that we must go forward.” Yes, indeed. Onward Muslim Soldiers.
