If you believe the mainstream media (but then, who does?), Obama’s approval rating is slowly inching upward, and for no discernible reasons. I file those stories in the drawer with reported sightings of Bigfoot, space aliens, and Elvis Presley. After all, the Fourth Estate these days is essentially the propaganda arm of the Democratic Party, and Obama’s alleged rising approval is likely due to a combination of wishful thinking and intentionally skewed polling data. As Ulsterman’s White House Insider says, “These polls are fabrications intended to shape public opinion. They are not reflections of public opinion.”

In order to sway the vast majority and growing number of Americans who have finally faced up to the fact that Obama is purposefully trying to destroy the United States of America, the Obama Media have begun their side of the Obama syndicate’s overall strategy of lying to us. Although 50% of modern Americans could probably be convinced of just about anything, persuading them that Barack Obama deserves four more years in office is testing the outer limits of gullibility. The man doesn’t deserve four more minutes, and most people know it.

I find it hard to believe that 50% of the people actually approve of what’s being done to the country.
The unemployment rate is slowly declining and the 2012 alternatives are yet another batch of old, rich religious zealots who are competing to see who can scream “Reagan” the loudest. Some polls may lie, but facts don’t — conservatism is so 2004.
I’m not particularly fond of the Pachyderm candidates either, JOE, though I wouldn’t exactly descibe ‘em as ‘religious zealots’ … but I’m even less enamored with Obama’s Marxism 101 (or corporate cronyism or fascism or whatever today’s trendy term happens to be). Socialism is so 1894.
Same thing with the job and unemployment numbers.
Rush today stated that they should be 9% and 19% respectively.
I wouldn’t be surprised that before the election, the jobs number will be very close to Bush’s (5%).
Subtract the number of federal jobs and you’re probably talking 13%.
If there is a second term…and I think there will be…there will also be a third. Watch how quickly that pesky 22nd amendment gets repealed. The consolidation of power will proceed at a staggering pace.

We need voter ID, otherwise there is a good possibility that Obama will be smiling down at US from the rim of America’s grave.
Hoping yer wrong about a 2nd term, TOM, but I never thought that only 5 years after 9/11 people would be dumb enough to vote for a guy with the middle name ‘Hussein’ in the first place.

I’m not convinced that a lot of Americans aren’t gullible enough to swallow all the crap that the media and the pollsters are dishing out. I’d like to be wrong about my pessimism.
I don’t have any great regard for the perspicacity of the public either. After all, they’re the ones who put BHO there in the first place. Still, hope springs eternal.
