Fixing A Poll

If you believe the mainstream media (but then, who does?), Obama’s approval rating is slowly inching upward, and for no discernible reasons. I file those stories in the drawer with reported sightings of Bigfoot, space aliens, and Elvis Presley. After all, the Fourth Estate these days is essentially the propaganda arm of the Democratic Party, and Obama’s alleged rising approval is likely due to a combination of wishful thinking and intentionally skewed polling data. As Ulsterman’s White House Insider says, These polls are fabrications intended to shape public opinion. They are not reflections of public opinion.”

From Canada Free Press:

In order to sway the vast majority and growing number of Americans who have finally faced up to the fact that Obama is purposefully trying to destroy the United States of America, the Obama Media have begun their side of the Obama syndicate’s overall strategy of lying to us. Polls now show 50% of voters would vote for Obama. Intelligent people—even those few on the Left—know this is a lie. But, it’s what all third-world countries have done since their inception.

This is what we said would happen, at least a year ago. This is what is happening now. The polls are being used to convince the more uninformed amongst us that there is no real hope of regaining our country and we’d better get used to submitting to the dictator already in office… (Obama Media begin the Faking of Obama Poll Numbers)

The White House Insider agrees:

[...] Got word there is a comprehensive polling and economic data program about ready to be launched via some administration operatives and particular media outlets. Big time cooking the books on this polling data they will be pushing out there soon….The poll itself will be regurgitated to other secondary media. (WHITE HOUSE INSIDER: Heads Up – The Cook The Books Campaign Is Underway)

Although 50% of modern Americans could probably be convinced of just about anything, persuading them that Barack Obama deserves four more years in office is testing the outer limits of gullibility.  The man doesn’t deserve four more minutes, and most people know it.

I’ve never been convinced that Bill O’Reilly ever really was watching out for me; but he’s right about one thing—if Barack Obama is re-elected, none of us will recognize this country in four years:

  1. Yep. That’s the way Hugo Chavez does it. Works well for him.

  2. bunkerville says:

it could read, Barely 50 percent approve of Obama, Those who still pay taxes, dissaprove. Sounds better.

The unemployment rate is slowly declining and the 2012 alternatives are yet another batch of old, rich religious zealots who are competing to see who can scream “Reagan” the loudest. Some polls may lie, but facts don’t — conservatism is so 2004.

    • Bob Mack says:

I’m not particularly fond of the Pachyderm candidates either, JOE, though I wouldn’t exactly descibe ‘em as ‘religious zealots’ … but I’m even less enamored with Obama’s Marxism 101 (or corporate cronyism or fascism or whatever today’s trendy term happens to be). Socialism is so 1894.

  4. AFVET says:

Same thing with the job and unemployment numbers.
Rush today stated that they should be 9% and 19% respectively.
I wouldn’t be surprised that before the election, the jobs number will be very close to Bush’s (5%).

  5. Tom Gazdag says:

If there is a second term…and I think there will be…there will also be a third. Watch how quickly that pesky 22nd amendment gets repealed. The consolidation of power will proceed at a staggering pace.

    • AFVET says:

“The consolidation of power will proceed at a staggering pace.”
I agree, and it already has.
We need voter ID, otherwise there is a good possibility that Obama will be smiling down at US from the rim of America’s grave.

    • Bob Mack says:

Hoping yer wrong about a 2nd term, TOM, but I never thought that only 5 years after 9/11 people would be dumb enough to vote for a guy with the middle name ‘Hussein’ in the first place.

    From Gateway Pundit:

Barack Obama held a fundraiser last night with 2,900 adoring fans at the Nob Hill Masonic Center. Hundreds of tea partiers and Catholics lined the street to protest his visit.

By the way… The LA Times forgot to mention the hundreds of anti-Obama protesters outside the event.

  11. Bob Mack says:

Why you can’t believe the MSM: Record 19 reporters, media execs join Team Obama

For some Washington reporters and media execs, cheering their team from the sidelines just isn’t good enough: Tugging on a red, white and blue Team Obama jersey is the answer.
That’s the case for a whopping 19 journalists and media executives, including five from the Washington Post and three each from ABC and CNN, who’ve gone into the administration or center-left groups supporting the president.

Those inside the administration hit 14 this month when the Post’s Stephen Barr joined the Labor Department. That’s a record, say some revolving door watchers, and could even be much higher: The Post reports that “dozens” of former journalists have joined the administration, although Washington Secrets couldn’t verify that tally…

The revolving door isn’t a surprise to critics of the media and Obama. “The number of reporters going into the Obama administration merely confirms what I knew and what most conservatives long believed,” said Noam Neusner, himself one of the few reporters hired as a Bush speech writer. “There is a vast supply of liberals in newsrooms, they are very happy to support Obama administration policies if they can get hired and they barely hide their ideology in the way they cover the news.”

I’m not convinced that a lot of Americans aren’t gullible enough to swallow all the crap that the media and the pollsters are dishing out. I’d like to be wrong about my pessimism.

    • Bob Mack says:

I don’t have any great regard for the perspicacity of the public either. After all, they’re the ones who put BHO there in the first place. Still, hope springs eternal.

Journalistic malfeasance…From Trevor Loudon’s New Zeal Blog (2010) Socialist “JournoListas

The now closed down JournoList, has caused considerable controversy in recent weeks. According to its opponents, JournoList, teamed up some 400 prominent “progressive” journalists in an effort to smooth Barack Obama’s path to the White House. There have been accusations that “Journolitstas”, deliberately sought to downplay Obama’s association with the marxist Rev. Jeremiah Wright and tried to smear conservatives, or opposing journalists as “racists”.

This post looks at 106 reported “Journolistas” to look for connections or common threads.

Of the known “Jounolistas” and organizations listed below, many can be linked back to two interrelated groups Democratic Socialists of America, the U.S.’s largest marxist based organization and D.S.A.’s “brain” the Washington DC based, far left “think tank” the Institute for Policy Studies…
