The Obamacalypse

RW FanaticH/T to Tom & Dave

Obama ZombiesI’ve never been particularly enamored by dramas featuring predatory cadavers (which is why I neglected to watch the recent State of the Union address); however, The Walking Dead, the saga of a viral zombie apocalypse and the band of uninfected stalwarts who struggle to survive in a world gone mad has much to recommend it, not least of which is that it serves as an almost perfect metaphor for the Obama years.  After all, what else but a mysterious malady that destroys the capacity for reason and turns human beings into Democrats can explain the re-election of a man so obviously unfit for office?  His (partial) record:

  • 2.6 million more people living below the poverty line.
  • Food stamp rolls have skyrocketed to more than 47 million people.
  • Over 8,803,335 Americans are receiving disability, an 18% increase since 2009.
  • The median household income has dropped $4,520, or about one month’s average wages, since Obama took office.
  • US incomes fell more during the so-called recovery than the recession.
  • Gas prices have doubled.
  • Taxes have ballooned.
  • This year working Americans making between $30,000 and $200,000 will see their paychecks shrink by as much as 1.7 percent – or up to $1,784.
  • Obamacare will punish working Americans with more taxes.

Overseas, the damage done to American interests in just four years is equally appalling.  This is an administration either hopelessly inept or unbelievably treacherous. Yet the primary plague carrier was returned to office.  The virus was not contained.

There is an adage that reads “never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity… but don’t rule out malice.”

… if you are both intelligent and you have a malicious agenda, you would not let the people that elected you know of your nefarious designs, at least not those who don’t share your agenda, so you would camouflage your intentions by providing some kind of cover. Any excuse that your (for the most part) ignorant and lazy electorate could swallow would do. It does not even have to make sense. You just need an excuse so that the people that elected you can wrap themselves in their delusional cocoon and go comfortably back to sleep.

… If the goal was the destruction of America, everything these Marxists do makes perfect sense. Otherwise we have to believe that these politicians are just really stupid or unlucky. (But Don’t Rule Out Malice|Ryan Scott Welch|The American Thinker)

The Obamacalypse is far from over. Vaccines are unreliable and the disease seems resistant to conventional antibiotics (Barack Obama…hmm..hmm…hmm). For now, we survivors seek refuge and anodynes.  Tomorrow, we must discover a cure.

It’s up to congress to stop the tyranny that Obama is attempting to impose on this Country.
I hold congress totally responsible for allowing him to sit in the office in the first place.
Now that it has happened twice, I hold them doubly responsible.
He should be impeached, and the very fact that he is not on the carpet for treason indicates the congress has been neutered.
    Disgusting !
Too many pusses, and I ain’t talking about the women.

Neil Snyder writes in The American Thinker:

…in 2012 ignoramuses and liberals represented the majority of those who voted. I’m not worried about offending them with my harsh words. My very existence offends them, and so does yours if you don’t buy into their worldview.

…In the United States today, large and growing numbers of people believe that their mere existence is their contribution to society. They think that those of us who have worked hard all of our lives owe them a living, and not just a living, but a very good living…Obama is their champion, and they are still among us waiting in the wings for another opportunity to vent their frustrations … Common sense is totally absent in their world. For instance, who would dare to suggest that the 1% who paid almost 40% of federal income taxes in 2010 should pay more because it’s “fair” even though about 50% of our fellow citizens paid no federal income tax? The answer: Barack Obama and his merry band of malcontents … Takers have no misgivings about attaching themselves permanently to the government tit, and they feel no guilt or shame as they scream for more. Obama knows them and their predilections all too well, and he takes advantage of every opportunity to stoke the fires that burn within them…a perfect storm is brewing. I think we’re heading for a chaotic and violent period in this country the likes of which no one alive today has ever witnessed.

      As Paul Moreno writes:

The Dodd-Frank law passed with the idea of preventing the next big financial collapse and bailout of banks deemed “too big to fail.” Instead, it is concentrating power in those same banks and probably just setting us up for the next banking catastrophe.

… The Fed is a good example of what political scientists call “regulatory capture,” where the industry that is supposed to be regulated ends up dominating the regulating agency and using it for its own ends. New York banks regained their dominance in the national money market by the time of the Great Depression, which in turn brought about the next phase of federal regulation.

The Fed bears a large share of the blame for aggravating that depression, but the only consequence of its ineptitude was that Congress gave it more power. As usual in politics, nothing succeeds like failure. It illustrates what economist Deepak Lal calls the “dirigiste dogma” — government intervention aggravates the problem that the intervention was meant to alleviate, and this aggravated condition becomes the justification for further government intervention.

Many historians have advanced the view that progressives like Wilson were really “corporate liberals,” claiming to be defending “the people” against big “interests” while actually advancing the agenda of those interests.

Great comparison! We’re seeing even some liberals upset about Obama’s claims to have the right to kill Americans with drones. And, the gun control issue is disenchanting many Democrats who support the 2nd Amendment. Hopefully, some people are beginning to see the light, and will side with us in calling for his impeachment. That’s the only thing that can save this nation. Another 4 years of Obama, and our nation will be completely unrecognizable.

Prelude to the re-education camps? Here’s what we’re dealing with in the Obama Nation:

Federal Workers Made to Chant: ‘The Pilgrims Were Illegal Aliens’

Judicial Watch has released videos showing the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) holding required “Cultural Sensitivity Training” sessions created by diversity awareness trainer Samuel Betances – at a cost to taxpayers of $200,000.

“In 2011 and 2012, the USDA paid Betances and his firm nearly $200,000 for their part in the “cultural transformation’ program.”

Within the videos, Betances has the audience repeat after him in a brainwashing fashion. Among the chants repeated are:

      “Thank you, black folks,”
“The pilgrims were illegal aliens” and
“The pilgrims never gave their passport to the Indians.”

In another clip, Betances states he doesn’t like the word “minorities” and prefers “emerging majorities.”

The obvious question is: why is the USDA holding “Cultural Sensitivity Training” sessions on “cultural transformation?”
