A thought to open the New Year, from Anthony Martin at Conservative Examiner:

The forces of abject evil that wish to limit individual liberty are well aware they are losing the debate in the public marketplace. Not only did the Leftists lose big in the House, but they lost major seats in the Senate that were long held by liberal Democrats. And at this point, with Obama’s poll numbers tanking into the 30s, many inside the beltway privately acknowledge that without a miracle in the economy, Obama has about as much chance of being reelected in 2012 as Barney Frank if he ran in Cullman, Alabama.

But those who are personally and financially invested in dismantling the long-held traditions of the Founders will not go down without a fight. They will resist defeat with everything in their arsenal, which is substantial given the deep pockets of “brave new world” statists such as George Soros, John Podesta’s Center for American Progress, and entities such as SEIU and the various government-workers unions.

  11. That’s a good essay by Anthony Martin.

2011 is going to be the year that makes or breaks America, IMO.

    Hi Always on Watch

Strangely I am working on a Post in which I was going to use the exact same words about 2011. The World is on edge; it has been for a while and I believe that something will crack; it will have to because there are just too many pressure points one against the other.

I shall let you know; just give me a few weeks. It will be part of a series on Time.

But let us all make the best of it in the meantime; we have to keep our spirits positive.
