Digest Of Dastardly Debacles…

…& Deleterious Dereliction

They’ve got it all, this bunch.  From betraying an ally to comforting the enemy, the guiding principle of the Obama Misadministration seems to be Never Let A Dirty Deed Go Undone. This week’s digest of dastardly debacles and deleterious dereliction:

First, the Manchurian President cashs in not only our nuclear chips, but tosses in a stack that doesn’t even belong to him in order to get the Russian bear’s pawprint on his irresponsibly flawed ‘arms control’ treaty (US Agrees To Tell Russia Britain’s Nuclear Secrets The Telegraph UK).

Information about every Trident missile the US supplies to Britain will be given to Russia as part of an arms control deal signed by President Barack Obama next week.

See Also: Obama Gives UK Nuke Secrets to Russia—He MUST now be removed from office and power (Canada Free Press)

[…] Judi McLeod of Canada Free Press reports that in the last quarter of 2009 Code Pink was in Egypt (after wending its way through Gaza to get there) and were later joined by domestic terrorists and ObamaFriends Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn. They claimed it was a “coincidence.” Uh-huh. Sure it was. Were they assisting in planning the Egyptian revolution? Sure looks like it. Was Obama involved? C’mon…what do you think?

Today, however, the Drudge Report and The UK’s Daily Telegraph are reporting about something more insidious and far more menacing to the survival of the USA and the world. On 4 February 2011, Matthew Moore, Gordon Rayner and Christopher Hope reporting for the Daily Telegraph wrote: “Information about every Trident missile the US supplies to Britain will be given to Russia, as part of an arms control deal signed by President Barack Obama next week.” So, not only has Obama destroyed the USA’s defense system but, he is bent upon taking Great Britain down with it.

Then, he decides that a man (Nidal Malik Hasan) who kills 13 Americans and wounds 29 others while shouting “Allahu Akbar” (Allah is Great) is not necessarily an Islamic extremist, and even if he is, in the interests of diversity, we shouldn’t call him one. (Senate Report On Shooting Critical Of FBI, Army GOPUSA)

[…] The enemy — Islamist extremists — must be labeled correctly and explicitly, the report said, in order for the military to counter the extremism. Lieberman made a similar argument last year in a letter to the White House about the need to accurately identify Islamic extremists as the enemy.

President Barack Obama’s top counterterrorism official, John Brennan, responded that while it is important to accurately define the enemy, using “Islamic extremist” and other similar phrases can lump a diverse set of organizations into a single group in a way that may be counterproductive.

And of course, the Sire’s henchmen continue their interminable efforts to stifle all who disagree. (Internet ‘kill switch’ bill will return CNET News).

A controversial bill handing President Obama power over privately owned computer systems during a “national cyberemergency,” and prohibiting any review by the court system, will return this year.

Obama The Internet Pharaoh: Push To Regulate Online Speech Gains Momentum (Washington Times)

[…] the Obama administration remains committed to getting its hands on the private infrastructure that serves as the backbone of online discourse. On Dec. 21, President Obama’s communications czar, Julius Genachowski, issued a decree imposing “net neutrality” rules on Internet service providers, even though Congress specifically exempted the Internet from regulation by the Federal Communications Commission. A provision of the 1996 Telecommunications Act does give the agency ability to “remove barriers to infrastructure investment,” and Mr. Genachowski pounced on this to mean he could tell companies how they should run networks they built with their own money.

Did FCC Pressure Comcast to Incorporate ‘Localism’ Into NBC Deal? (NewBusters)

Elections have consequences. In the realm of media regulation, the 2008 election meant increased influence for proponents of so-called media “localism.” The increased influence of localism at the FCC bore itself out in the recently-approved Comcast/NBC merger.

As a hypothetical, “localism” is relatively innocent. But in practice, it essentially amounts to a back-door mechanism for media regulation, which is why the FCC’s most left-wing member, Michael Copps, has been an outspoken advocate of localism as part of his proposed “public value test.”

[…] Localism is catnip for the media Marxist crowd because it helps remove capitalism from the equation, and makes political pull – which the Michael Copps’s of the country have far more of than they do entrepreneurial prowess – the sole determinant of standards for broadcasters as they pertain to “local” coverage.

And where would a corrupt cabal of committed Marxists be without the big money that pours in from their union cronies and the donors eager to buy exemptions from the onerous regulations under which they’ve placed the rest of us? (Obama Abuses Power to Favor Unions, Big Business David Limbaugh)

Is there anything about the Obama administration that doesn’t reek of discriminatory application and enforcement of laws and the arbitrary and capricious abuse of power?

Obama’s best defense against the charge that he’s doing outrageous things is that to correctly accuse him of committing these actions makes one look like a kook. Viewed alone, they are quite disconcerting. Taken together, especially with levels of audacity and arrogance that would impress any tyrant, they are immensely troubling.

Obama’s selective and inequitable wielding of governmental power suggests that he’s on a mission to correct perceived injustices, to settle the score or to exact revenge. His attitude lends credence to this.

Everything about his governance smacks of picking winners and losers and defying accountability — just because he can and no one is going to stop him.

So many arms in so many pies…but, all is not yet lost.  The elections of 2012 are coming,  and when you remove the tentacle from an octopus, it doesn’t grow back.

All I can say to this, is “wow!” Nice job putting all these things together. The sad thing is that this is by no means anywhere near a complete list.

    • Bob Mack says:

Morning, Martin. You’re right, but I have a finite amount of bandwidth. The Sire will recount more of his many misadventures in the next volume of his never-ending autobiographical series: “Dreaming About Myself Again”.

  2. Bob,
Thank you for the link! I appreciate it.

As for Obama, well, there are grounds to impeach him. Does this Congress have the guts to do so? I don’t think so. **sighing heavily**

    • Bob Mack says:

I think we’ll have to wait for 2012 to boot Obama out of office along with the rest of his Big Red Machine. But if spilling the nuclear secrets of your closest ally to an antagonist isn’t a high crime, then what is? Poisoning his dog?

  3. AFVET says:

    I agree with AOW.
What’s it going to take to impeach this bastard ????
Two more years of his tactics are unacceptable.

    • Bob Mack says:

Even if the House mustered the cojones to impeach, the still semi-Socialist Senate would never convict. So if this guy’s ever gonna be kicked out of office, we’re the ones who are gonna have to do it.

      • AFVET says:

Their are twenty one Senators up for re-election in 2012.
One could ask them, how much do you really like your job ?
I don’t know what kind of a majority the Senate needs to impeach.
The overbearing attitude towards us can be turned back on them very quickly. Their ignorance will guarantee their defeat.
        It needs to start now.
Keep reminding them that if they refuse to do the will of the people, they will be eliminated, the conservatives will take over the Senate, Obama’s mandates will be repealed, and if Obama is re-elected he will be impeached.

The threats that we the people have endured by way of congress has to stop.
It’s about time ‘Don’t Tread on Me’ is enforced, by US.

      • Bob Mack says:

It’s never too early to start getting out the vote.

  5. AFVET says:

Remember, the fence-sitter Big Bill O’Reilly is going to provide Obama a national forum right before the Super Bowl.
I have braced myself for another let down from O’Reilly.
It will surprise me if Bill disallows Obama to dance without getting a concrete answer to at least one question during the interview.
    And what if he did.
    Obama is a pathological liar.
Maybe Bill will provide the Greek set for boy wonder.

    • Bob Mack says:

I wonder if O’Reilly will ‘watch out for the folks’ by quizzing Obama on giving away the British nuclear secrets in exchange for….what was it he got again? Oh, yeah–a weaker America.

  6. Angel says:

thanks Bob for this great piece..I posted as well…arggggggggg!HAVE A SWEET SUNDAY dear friend!!:)

  7. Bob Mack says:

ROXY at Diary of A Mad Conservative has posted on yet another deleterious activity by Obama’s Red Squares: Dept of Labor partners with lawyers for employee complaint lawsuits:

A hotline has been created so that unhappy employees with complaints about their bosses can report and retain an attorney for legal action.

Next to the DOJ, Labor has the most attorneys already on payroll than any other department in the federal government but they can’t seem to address all the complaints coming in from disgruntled employees. On a contingency basis, the ABA will provide attorneys to help out. That means that they only get paid at the end of a suit – after it’s gone to court or a settlement is reached.

Yes sir. More lawsuits against small businesses. More government/taxpayer funded employees to monitor the program. And if you’re a lawyer and not a member of the ABA, chances are you won’t be getting referrals.

  8. Bob Mack says:

Great posts by the Patriot Underground have been pouring in of late. NoOneOfAnyImport has this: Judge Vinson’s Healthcare Ruling: The Cliffnotes

Next, he discusses the point which simply cannot be logically refuted: there has to be a limit to government control. If there is no limit, then the federal government is totalitarian. If this insurance mandate is not the limit, then what is?

And Martin at What Would The Founders Think conducts An Interview With Jon Bruning About Judge Vinson’s Decision

Jim: Did you expect the decision to be so sweeping?

Jon: I hoped it would be, but it’s even better than I expected.

Martin: What can ordinary Americans do to help fast-track the case to the supreme Court?

Jon: Contact your member of Congress. A resolution from Congress may at least help the Court realize the national import of this issue being decided quickly.

    • Bob Mack says:

PUMABYDESIGN001 comments on activity at the Super Gestapo Bowl:

In what is sure intended to be the ultimate tests as to exactly how far Americans will allow our government to shove, jostle, denigrate, humiliate and intimidate the citizenry, Napolitano has deemed that every individual attending the Super Bowl tomorrow night in Texas must pass through a magnetometer and surrender to enhanced body patdowns.

It gets even worse, even though there are no credible threats, Napolitano has asked Super Bowl attendees to monitor, snitch and bitch on fellow Super Bowl attendees.

  9. Bob Mack says:

Some more on what is certainly a high crime, by Marc Chamot: WikiLeaks Woes for Obama; White House Agreed to Reveal Britain’s Nuclear Secret

Shocking and unbelievable folks! It’s magnitude proportions in foreign relations disaster for the United States folks.

News of our president selling out one of our closest ally in world history, to none other than a natural enemy of freedom and this bad news is slowly dismantling the British people.

Some British presses are having a field day with this news story, and it hasn’t got to Drudge Report yet. But it’s definitely going everywhere on the Internet, and it’s going to be a very big problem for President Obama’s future.

The Daily Telegraph of the U.K., who first reported this story, has over 2,800 very angry and livid British comments. We have just awakened wonderful peoples of Great Britain, a great ally, and they are all wondering what the heck is going on with our president?

But we know what’s going on, and we’ve known since Day One: This man Obama is an enemy of Western Civilization.

  10. roxannadanna says:

Well done, BOB! You hit so many bases and so well and concisely. This guy is the epitome of arrogance!
I am forwarding your website to a good friend of mine in Louisiana.

By the way – Thanks for the nod here!

  11. samiam60 says:

Good Morning my fellow American Patriots and Friends. I have an incredible video here from MSNBC that you must see:

  12. Bob Mack says:

Always On Watch notes this bit of bureaucratic insanity: The EPA Classifies Milk As Oil? From The Washington Examiner

the EPA has decided that, since milk contains oil, it has the authority to force farmers to comply with new regulations to file “emergency management” plans to show how they will cope with spilled milk, how farmers will train “first responders” and build “containment facilities” if there is a flood of spilled milk.

  13. Great compilation, Bob. And thanks for the link
