Obama Locked Out Of White House; Country Rejoices

It’s probably safe to assume that Barack Obama is the first President in American history to return from an overseas jaunt to find himself locked out of his own White House.  It’s probably equally safe to assume that there’s no truth to the rumor that it was Hillary Clinton who barred the door, although the old battle axe just might have kept a spare key or two along with the $190,000 worth of china, flatware, rugs, televisions, sofas and other items she and hubby Slick William pilfered when the pair of them departed the premises back in 2001.  But whoever was responsible, they missed a golden opportunity to do the country a Large.  They should have bolted all the doors.

I posted this but didn’t see it here or I would have given you credit. My theory is that this should bring back memories of his professor friend in Cambridge who was also locked out on return from a vacation. I seem to remember Barack saying something like if he tried to break into the White House he would probably be shot or words to that effect. Relax, Barack. All the guns are in the Middle East.

  2. Bob Mack says:

Ah, yes. The always decorous Henry Gates, faux academician and director of the W.E.B. DuBois Institute. Are there any Obama pals that aren’t Marxists of one degree or another?

Good post Bob, It’s too bad Obummer didn’t take the hint.

I have cross-referenced your article from my post.

    Funny, Bob.

  7. I can’t help but wonder if locking the door was done as a practical joke–and some giggling occurred inside.

Keep this issue on the back burner folks.
Being locked out of the White House may be just the first indication of O’s Waterloo.

The analogy using the cop is priceless.

Good article, AFVET. The security check reference is accurate. There’s no way that either Obama or Clinton (or for that matter, his equally shady distaff counterpart) would have in a million years passed the NSA background investigation that I underwent when I received my clearances in 1967. In fact, even a superficial review of Obama’s past would have red flagged him and brought him 24-hour surveillance by the FBI.

For a couple seconds when I first saw the video, there was hope

BTW: Between Garfinke’s “Down the Rabbit Hole” and your “Obama’s Libyan Adventure: What’s In It For Him?” I couldn’t resist

    • Bob Mack says:

Thanks, Grumpy. Garfinke’s article is on the money, especially his observations about the Marine pilots. I hadn’t seen American Interest before. It appears to be an excellent resource. I’m gonna put it on my Miscellaneous Links list.

  10. I can just see Obama and First Mommy arguing over who had the keys last.

Tim Cavanaugh in The Fogh of War (Reason Magazine) had a few good lines:

Some people don’t know what country President Barack Obama was born in. I don’t know what country he’s president of.

When he’s talking about trade agreements, Obama is as parochial as a UAW shop steward.

When protecting calcified domestic industries, he’s as nationalistic as a Frenchman.

His astoundingly still employed Treasury Secretary denounces foreign central bankers like an old school South American strongman.

For the Olympics, a primitive exercise in flag-waving, Obama will travel across oceans in a vain attempt to bring home the gold.

Yet during wartime—when patriotism and group identity and blind tribalism actually have some value—Obama turns into a neoliberal internationalist, Mr. Arugula with a splendid military.

Supposedly, there’s an escape pod of AF-1… If our guys on board were real patriots, they’d load him up and drop him over the middle of the Pacific ocean, with NO key to get out…
