As we approach the fourth and final year of the disastrous reign of Barack Hussein Obama, that most unAmerican of American presidents, his imperious daily assaults on our principles, our partners, and our sacred patrimony continue unabated. The litany of abuse that has occurred under this man’s Orwellian rubric of “Hope and Change” would take more space to detail than is advisable in a daily blog; A.K. Dart, however, has done an admirable job of indexing the damage in great specificity:
[…] He is a man with no great record of accomplishments in the Senate, or anywhere else…his only management positions have been in organizations that give away other people’s money…more importantly, he has been surrounded by left-wing anti-American radicals and genuine Communists all his life…Upon close examination, his speeches are full of empty promises, self-contradictory claims, and flag-waving rhetoric. And it’s not necessarily the American flag he’s waving.
Reviewed in their totality, the initiatives if not the words, of President Barack Obama clearly reveal a Marxist internationalist who regards the Constitution of the United States as an impediment to the imposition of socialism rather than as the guarantor of American freedom. Back in the ’30s and ’40s, the collective group of hitmen who carried out contract executions on behalf of Organized Crime were euphemistically called Murder, Inc. by the big city tabloids who chronicled their homicidal activities. Though our modern-day scriveners have thus far neglected to report on the administration of Barack Obama as much as they have celebrated it, Malfeasance, Inc.–i.e. the United States government–has, at least since the scandalous era of William J. Clinton, been an equal opportunity offender. After all, the “compassionate conservatism” of Slick William’s successor gave us not a return to even a modicum of Constitutionalism, but further expansion of Leviathan’s power and the shredding of the Bill of Rights in the name of National Security.
“Nothing is more uncertain than the masses,” said the Roman Marcus Tullius Cicero, and it was the masses that, thinking they knew him, gave us Barack Obama. But the multitudinal abuses of Obama did not take root in fallow soil. The USA Patriot Act–which now includes as possible domestic terrorists “those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration”–was signed into law by George W. Bush.
