Hussein Obama’s failed administration harbors within it more thimbleriggers, mountebanks, and swindlers than a caravan of itinerant gypsies. Since implementing so-called ‘net neutrality’ regulations with the connivance of leftists in the George Soros funded Free Press group and in defiance of the Congress and the courts, a process which Judicial Watch president Tom Filton called “nothing less than the Obama administration’s attempt to stage a government takeover of the Internet…”, assorted Obama shell game operators have been attempting to persuade the gullible that the administration’s motives are entirely innocent:
Federal Communications Commissioner Mignon Clyburn, an Obama appointee, told CNSNews.com that the FCC does not want to regulate Internet content but it does want to regulate the Internet’s “on/off ramps.”
Internet users, she said, should have “engagement that is equal. Engagement that is transparent. So when we talk about the Internet and our governance of it, again, we’re talking about the on/off ramps. So no one should be worried about content regulation. That is not what we are speaking about.”
However, an Obamunist is, as always, about as pure as the driven slush. The filly Mignon is either naive or duplicitous. There’s no need for the FCC to regulate content when armies of federal Staatspolizei with newly expanded powers can easily intimidate people into doing it themselves. The FBI, under Obama’s Attorney-General Eric Holder, has issued a new Domestic Investigations and Operations Guide, which, besides allowing G-men to proactively and without evidence of criminal or terrorist activity probe people and organizations, also distinguishes, according to the New York Times, between “legitimate members of the news media” (i.e. “prominent” bloggers and Mainstream press scribblers), and apparently illegitimate and “low-profile” peons like yours truly. Only the former, of course, will receive the benefits of supervisory oversight.
Daughter of the left-wing, race card playing Congressman (and Obama shill) James Clyburn ( “the president’s problems are in large measure because of the color of his skin.”), the FCC Commissioner once said in all seriousness that a ‘free’ internet is a civil right for “every nappy-headed child”, a statement so utterly devoid of tact, intelligence, and Constitutional principle that it beggars the imagination–as do her blithe assurances regarding the regulatory intent of Net Neutrality.
