When told that Mao Tse-tung and his followers were communists, [George C.] Marshall remarked: “Don’t be ridiculous. These fellows are just old-fashioned agrarian reformers.”
“I know what the world thinks of us, we are Communists, and of course I have said very clearly that we are not Communists; very clearly.” (Fidel Castro)
Q: Is Obama a socialist? A: No. (Frank Llewellyn, National Director of the Democratic Socialists of America)
Ask any Red and they’ll always tell you–there’s nobody here but us ‘agrarian reformers’. So, given Hussein Obama’s expressed disdain toward heartland folk…
“it’s not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”
This latest and potentially most ominous missive (Executive Order No. 13575) from our poison-pen President establishes yet another layer of federal bureaucracy that intends to
(a) make recommendations to the President, through the Director of the Domestic Policy Council and the Director of the National Economic Council, on streamlining and leveraging Federal investments in rural areas, where appropriate, to increase the impact of Federal dollars and create economic opportunities to improve the quality of life in rural America;
(b) coordinate and increase the effectiveness of Federal engagement with rural stakeholders, including agricultural organizations, small businesses, education and training institutions, health-care providers, telecommunications services providers, research and land grant institutions, law enforcement, State, local, and tribal governments, and nongovernmental organizations regarding the needs of rural America;
(c) coordinate Federal efforts directed toward the growth and development of geographic regions that encompass both urban and rural areas; and
(d) identify and facilitate rural economic opportunities associated with energy development, outdoor recreation, and other conservation related activities.
Agrarian reform can refer either, narrowly, to government-initiated or government-backed redistribution of agricultural land (see land reform) or, broadly, to an overall redirection of the agrarian system of the country, which often includes land reform measures. Agrarian reform can include credit measures, training, extension, land consolidations, etc.
Land reform may consist of a government-initiated or government-backed property redistribution, generally of agricultural land. Land reform is a deeply political process and therefore many arguments for and against it have emerged. These arguments vary tremendously over time and place. For example, in the twentieth century, many land reforms emerged from a particular political ideology, such as communism or socialism.
Hope and Change? We’ve not been issued our drab prison garb and sent into the countryside to work on the new collective farms just yet, but–thanks to Hussein Obama, his ‘progressive’ comrades in and out of government, and a largely complicit media and judiciary–we Americans are citizens no longer. We’re inmates.
Is the White House Rural Council Obama’s bland brand name for the implementation of the UN’s Agenda 21?
Agenda 21 is a comprehensive plan of action to be taken globally, nationally and locally by organizations of the United Nations System, Governments, and Major Groups in every area in which human impacts on the environment.
Every area? That’s a totality. Agenda 21 is merely a euphemism for global totalitarianism, one-world government, the New World Order; whatever you call it, it’s evil and it’s being quietly foisted upon us by plotters in the Obama administration.
Most Americans are unaware that one of the greatest threats to their freedom may be a United Nations program known as Agenda 21. The United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, Division for Sustainable Development created Agenda 21 as a sustainability agenda which is arguably an amalgamation of socialism and extreme environmentalism brushed with anti-American, anti-capitalist overtones.
[…] The United Nations purposely recommends avoiding the term Agenda 21 and suggests a cleverly named alternative: “smart growth.” The United Nations Millennium Papers – Issue 2 (page 5) says this of Agenda 21 and smart growth:
“Participating in a UN-advocated planning process would very likely bring out many of the conspiracy-fixated groups and individuals in our society such as the National Rifle Association, citizen militias and some members of Congress. This segment of our society who fear ‘one-world government’ and a UN invasion of the United States through which our individual freedom would be stripped away would actively work to defeat any elected official who joined ‘the conspiracy’ by undertaking LA21. So, we call our process something else, such as comprehensive planning, growth management, or smart growth [emphasis added].”
Thanks to Barack Obama and the United Nations, the vegetables you grow in your back yard garden soon may no longer be yours. And neither will the garden.
