Obama: Just An Old-Fashioned ‘Agrarian Reformer’

When told that Mao Tse-tung and his followers were communists, [George C.] Marshall remarked: “Don’t be ridiculous. These fellows are just old-fashioned agrarian reformers.”

“I know what the world thinks of us, we are Communists, and of course I have said very clearly that we are not Communists; very clearly.”  (Fidel Castro)

Q: Is Obama a socialist?  A: No. (Frank Llewellyn, National Director of the Democratic Socialists of America)

Ask any Red and they’ll always tell you–there’s nobody here but us ‘agrarian reformers’.  So, given Hussein Obama’s expressed disdain toward heartland folk…

“it’s not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”

…it was only a matter of time before his inner agrarian reformer showed up to set the bumpkins straight:

Barack Obama’s White House Rural Council: Central Economic Planning For America’s Heartland

This latest and potentially most ominous missive (Executive Order No. 13575) from our poison-pen President establishes yet another layer of federal bureaucracy that intends to

(a) make recommendations to the President, through the Director of the Domestic Policy Council and the Director of the National Economic Council, on streamlining and leveraging Federal investments in rural areas, where appropriate, to increase the impact of Federal dollars and create economic opportunities to improve the quality of life in rural America;

(b) coordinate and increase the effectiveness of Federal engagement with rural stakeholders, including agricultural organizations, small businesses, education and training institutions, health-care providers, telecommunications services providers, research and land grant institutions, law enforcement, State, local, and tribal governments, and nongovernmental organizations regarding the needs of rural America;

(c) coordinate Federal efforts directed toward the growth and development of geographic regions that encompass both urban and rural areas; and

(d) identify and facilitate rural economic opportunities associated with energy development, outdoor recreation, and other conservation related activities.

From Wikipedia:

Agrarian reform can refer either, narrowly, to government-initiated or government-backed redistribution of agricultural land (see land reform) or, broadly, to an overall redirection of the agrarian system of the country, which often includes land reform measures. Agrarian reform can include credit measures, training, extension, land consolidations, etc.

Land reform may consist of a government-initiated or government-backed property redistribution, generally of agricultural land. Land reform is a deeply political process and therefore many arguments for and against it have emerged. These arguments vary tremendously over time and place. For example, in the twentieth century, many land reforms emerged from a particular political ideology, such as communism or socialism.

Hope and Change?  We’ve not been issued our drab prison garb and sent into the countryside to work on the new collective farms just yet, but–thanks to Hussein Obama, his ‘progressive’ comrades in and out of government, and a largely complicit media and judiciary–we Americans are citizens no longer. We’re inmates.

Is the White House Rural Council Obama’s bland brand name for the implementation of the UN’s Agenda 21?

Agenda 21 is a comprehensive plan of action to be taken globally, nationally and locally by organizations of the United Nations System, Governments, and Major Groups in every area in which human impacts on the environment.

Every area? That’s a totality.  Agenda 21 is merely a euphemism for global totalitarianism, one-world government, the New World Order; whatever you call it, it’s evil and it’s being quietly foisted upon us by plotters in the Obama administration.

UN Agenda 21 – Coming to a Neighborhood near You

Most Americans are unaware that one of the greatest threats to their freedom may be a United Nations program known as Agenda 21. The United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, Division for Sustainable Development created Agenda 21 as a sustainability agenda which is arguably an amalgamation of socialism and extreme environmentalism brushed with anti-American, anti-capitalist overtones.

[…] The United Nations purposely recommends avoiding the term Agenda 21 and suggests a cleverly named alternative: “smart growth.” The United Nations Millennium Papers – Issue 2 (page 5) says this of Agenda 21 and smart growth:

“Participating in a UN-advocated planning process would very likely bring out many of the conspiracy-fixated groups and individuals in our society such as the National Rifle Association, citizen militias and some members of Congress. This segment of our society who fear ‘one-world government’ and a UN invasion of the United States through which our individual freedom would be stripped away would actively work to defeat any elected official who joined ‘the conspiracy’ by undertaking LA21. So, we call our process something else, such as comprehensive planning, growth management, or smart growth [emphasis added].”

Thanks to Barack Obama and the United Nations, the vegetables you grow in your back yard garden soon may no longer be yours.  And neither will the garden.

  2. Thank you, Bob for posting on the subject of Agenda 21. I have written a few post on this subject. But Cheryl at My Tea Part Chronicle has published extensively on Agenda 21, Smart Growth, Sustainable living. She has been fight nearly a one person battle over the inroads that Smart Growth NGOs have made in her part of North Carolina. Here is a link to a speech she recently gave to her local Tea Party:

  3. Freedom, by the way says:

Property re-distribution? Isn’t that what they tried in South Africa? Worked out real well, didn’t it? Rural America is armed and ready.

    • Otis P. Driftwood says:

And so is a lot of Urban America.

    • Bob Mack says:

Local governments have already being doing it through a liberal interpretation of eminent domain. I doubt if the feds will actually commit much overt re-distribution; they’ll just have total control over what you can do with or on ‘your’ property.

Looks like the Pigford Farmers case where “almost” black farmers got milliions, was small change.. Just a trial balloom apparently. Great post.

Great post Bob!! They take my garden away and that’s it! Let them harvest weeds because that is all this Leftist morons deserve!! I’m releasing the dogs into my garden as we speak 🙂

    • Bob Mack says:

I still can’t believe the people of this country elected a Marxist ideologue president. My dog thinks we’re crazy.

      • roblorinov says:

Sadly our nation’s people are in a very dangerous place. We believe anything dished out by the power that be and question nothing. Lenin and Mao could only imagine such a public state of mind in their dreams and Pol Pot is rolling over in his grave with utter joy. My God what do we do if BO gets 4 more years? I don’t even want to think about it.

  7. Cheryl says:

Great catch on the Wikipedia definitions of agrarian reform and land reform!! I ask that I may use those on my blog to share?? Thanks for visiting my blog! I wish we were wrong on this, but we are not. All of it (Agenda 21 – Sustainable Development – Smart Growth) is so illegal that I cannot believe they are getting away with it. Keep up the great work! I’ll link you to mine…

    • Bob Mack says:

Hi, CHERYL. Feel free to use anything on my site whenever you want. Agenda 21 just sounds so nefarious that I’m not surprised the evil dwarfs at the UN are using happy little euphemisms for it. My opinion–I’ve posted it before–is that we’re in the middle of a leftist coup d’etat (Obama’s Coup d’etat):

Typically, a coup d’état uses the extant government’s power to assume political control of the country. In Coup d’État: A Practical Handbook, military historian Edward Luttwak says, “A coup consists of the infiltration of a small, but critical, segment of the state apparatus, which is then used to displace the government from its control of the remainder”, thus, armed force (either military or paramilitary) is not a defining feature of a coup d’état.

I’ve linked your post to mine.

I don’t know how I missed this story when it happened. Obama always sneaks things in when he thinks no one is looking. We need to get rid of the executive order powers for the President. I know Republican presidents have used it in the past as well, but Obama is much too dangerous to have that additional power. Is it even constitutional?

  12. ladybug says:

Bob, thanks for a very good post. I’m inclined to agree with your Coup d’Etat theory. I’ve been of the mind (even before Obama) that America was lost some time ago, not from the outside, but from within. It is no longer the country I swore allegiance to. I did not defect, rather, she did through change of guard, & change in law.

I wish we were wrong, but I see no reason to believe that she will ever return to her glory. 😦

  13. Bob Mack says:

Hi LADY. Thanks for stopping by. The enemies within are more insidious than those without, and we’ll never beat them unless we can convince our fellow citizens to see them as enemies–not just as Americans with different opinions. The deliberate destruction of Constitutional protections and the rule of law is not a matter for debate as far as I’m concerned.

Bob Mack, I am going to repost this again. I think it needs to be repeated over and over!

  16. Grumpyelder says:

Bob, as you know I posted on this damned thing this morning, very little in the wording that sounds threatening, unless you look at secondary difinitions, like you did.. or wonder why, he needs a special council to manage, in secret, things already under the jurisdiction of the Deptartment of the Interior. On top of that, what the hell does Janet Napolitan know about raising corn, or Eric Holder know about the woods,

Questions need to be asked now, and the internal memos looked at by Congress

    • Bob Mack says:

Yeah, it’s the typically sneaky infiltration tactics of the Frankfurt school Marxists, of which I consider Barack Obama a charter member. The 2012 election is crucial in removing these subversives & beginning to repair the damage they’ve done. Otherwise, it’ll be permanent.

  17. Grumpyelder says:

BTW I appreciate the link Bob, thanks
