John Kerry Beats The Press

“The media has got to begin to not give equal time or equal balance to an absolutely absurd notion just because somebody asserts it or simply because somebody says something which everybody knows is not factual.”

—Senator John Kerry

Well, John-boy should know whereof he speaks—he’s made a career of spouting absurd and less than factual notions, beginning with his slanderous 1971 testimony regarding his  fellow soldiers in Vietnam.   But far-leftists like the senator from Massachusetts have little use for inconvenient truths that happen to interfere with their socialistic agenda:

[…] one anti-Vietnam protester who was far more effective than Jane Fonda was John F. Kerry, who in order to further his political ambitions betrayed those he left behind in Vietnam–and 58,000 who came home in body bags, if at all–by siding with the so-called “Vietnam Veterans Against the War” and taking part in the “Winter Soldiers Investigation” in January 1971 in Detroit. There, more than 100 men took turns denouncing America and saying it was standard practice for U.S. soldiers to commit rape, murder, and other war crimes in Vietnam. Later, it was disclosed that many of Kerry’s “veterans” were total imposters, who if they had served in uniform at all were often mechanics and clerks in places like South Carolina and Germany, far away from Vietnam. Kerry then went before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and told these same kinds of stories, portraying Americans who served in Vietnam as horrible monsters.

[…] in terms of betraying America, “Hanoi Jane” was second-string as compared to “Hanoi John” Kerry, who admitted to Congress that he knew that he had probably broken the law when he went to Paris and met with the North Vietnamese and Viet Cong (“Provisional Revolutionary Government”) delegations. I don’t know what he told them, but it clearly did not discourage them from continuing their aggression against their neighbors. And, I might add, Kerry was correct that it was unlawful–indeed, it was a felony (18 U.S.C. 953). [From Honoring A Traitor, by former P.O.W. Michael Benge]

Just what are the latest “absurd notions” that have gotten the senator’s designer drawers  in such a wad?  Why, according to Greta Van Susteren, they happen to be anything with which the infallible Mr. K. disagrees:

Let me get this straight… he doesn’t think it is right to give “equal time and or balance” to a position he does not agree with?? or to book guests with opinions other than his own?? Really?? You got to be kidding! So, according to him, we are to only air HIS thoughts and his positions?

That’s about the size of it, Greta.  Like all would-be totalitarians, John Kerry cannot tolerate dissent—unless, of course, it’s his own.

  1. It doesn’t say much for the people that elect and re-elect un-American morons like Kerry time and time again. I’m sick of these voting idiots.

    • Bob Mack says:

      CNS reported this today:

The percentage of Americans who expressly state that they are supporters of the Tea Party movement is currently about as large at 22 percent of the population as the 21 percent who say they are liberals, according to recent but separate Gallup polls.

Meanwhile, at 41 percent of the population, according to Gallup, self-described conservatives outnumber both Tea Party movement supporters and liberals by nearly 2-to-1.

So, according to Kerry’s own logic, we should ban liberals from the media as well, which means his saturnine countenance wouldn’t be despoiling the airwaves any longer. Hey, ya know, he might have a point there!

        Good morning Bob,

Reason being is every time the left spouts some nonsense much like John “Swiftboat” Kerry, they send people running as fast as they can AWAY from the left.

I receive an email when someone joins the Tea Party, and I can’t help but notice such lines of putrid attacks as recently leveled on the Tea Party or Conservatives in general increases the membership of the Tea Party.

  2. John Carey says:

Wow…what can i say. The media…the watchdog of the republic should not give equal time to these hostage takers. Like Jim said, it doesn’t say much for the people who send this buffoon back to DC every time he’s up for reelection. I know maybe we can just get rid of those pesky Bill of Rights while we’re at it. That’s how absurd he sounds Bob.

    Great post by the way.

  5. Bunkerville says:

Actually this was a gift we should treasure. The more they fear the Tea Party, the more they reveal themselves. Keep going guys and gays. Great round up!

The MSN is dying and I hope they die completely.

It’s time to call all their bluffs.
In November 2012, we can establish term limits on these weasels whether they like it or not.
We have always had the ability to do so, I see this as an excellent opportunity to show them who they work for.

Remember folks, that any totalitarian regime seeks to control information. Can’t have the sheeple getting ideas of their own, can they?
