O-Ring Failure

After my recent battles with an infected tooth and the aftermath of a root canal procedure, I’ve come to the conclusion that the only thing possibly more painful is listening to Barack Obama and his fork-tongued spin doctors blame Republicans–more specifically, Tea party Republicans–for all the woes brought on primarily by the election of Obama in 2008. (See Spot the White House Talking Point: Patriotism Edition).  This latest version of the Blame Game is a variation of the moth-eaten old “Bush Did It” gambit, a subterfuge the failure of which should have been emphatically evident to the Jackasses after the catastrophic election of 2010; instead, the immovable ideologue Obama ascribes his plummeting approval ratings not to the pervasive unpopularity of his policies, but to the actions of the very people sent to the capitol by the voters to put a stop  to his socialistic scheming:

“I’m the President of the United States and when people aren’t happy with what’s happening in Washington, that I’m gonna be impacted just like Congress is. And you know I completely understand that, we expected that.

But when you look at how people feel about my approach to deficit reduction or when you look at how people feel about my belief that we’ve gotta continue to invest in education or medical research or making sure that we’re rebuilding our roads and our bridges and our seaports and our airports, when you look at how people feel about the agenda to rebuild America so that it’s competitive in the 21st century that I’ve been promoting over the last couple of years, it turns out that people are supportive of that.” Obama: Let’s face it, Congress is hurting my approval rating (Hot Air)

But it wasn’t Tea party Republicans who conceived of “Fast and Furious”, aka “Gunwalker,” for example, the failed ATF operation apparently planned by the Obamunists as a cover to arbitrarily enact regulations not permitted by the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution:

The Obama administration is, to put it mildly, in a panic over the fallout and potential damage to Mr. Obama of Gunwalker…the National Rifle Association and National Shooting Sports Foundation are planning lawsuits against the Justice Department’s administrative mandate that border gun dealers report the sale of two or more long guns within a five-day period, primarily on the grounds that Congress has expressly forbidden the ATF (or the DOJ through the ATF) such power. Continuing revelations such as former Phoenix ATF Agent in Charge William Newell’s repeated discussions of the gunwalking case with a White House National Security functionary, and a multitude of embarrassing e-mails which clearly indicate that the basis for gun walking was a political desire for restrictive gun control policies unattainable through the legislative process, are also very much a thorn in the Obama administration’s collective posteriors. — Gunwalker and the Foundations of Liberty (Pajamas Media)

And, since a cornered ideologue is more dangerous than a cornered rat, a not insubstantial number of conservatives are beginning to worry about the possibility of the Obamunists staging a modern-day version of the Reichstag fire:

[…] ‘In a regime of criminals, pay attention to what the head crook says.’

…Earlier this week, Barack Obama spoke about his ‘concern’ that a ‘lone wolf’ terrorist would strike against the U.S. The single most destructive lone wolf terror attack was conducted in Oklahoma City by those the Feds identified as ‘white, rightwing, anti-government extremists.’

Obama not only expressed concern about another lone wolf attack, simiiar to that which occurred recently in Norway, but stated that the biggest threat of terrorism is from the ‘lone wolf’–an interesting observation given that most terrorist attacks throughout the world have not been carried out by lone wolves but by those used as tools for violent extremists in the Middle East.

It is also interesting to note that on the same day Obama issued his ‘warning’ about the ‘lone wolf,’ Janet Napolitano at the Department of Homeland Security issued the most strongly worded warning yet about such ‘lone wolves.’ But that is only the tip of the iceberg. DHS went as far as to claim, without any evidence whatsoever, that white, middle class Americans form the biggest terror threat to the nation at the present time. Obama to weasel out of Gunwalker scandal through another OKC attack? — National Conservative | Examiner.com.

Ah. White, middle class Americans–the very people comprising the backbone of the Tea party—not to mention approximately 70% of the population of the United States.  Even Dr. Frasier Crane would know it’s not paranoia if they really are out to get you.  ***Earth-shattering revelations?? As I wrote the above, my chair starting jumping up and down and the walls of the house began rattling from an earthquake centered in Virginia.  Ya never know what’s in store…

  1. Nastiest headline ever, bra-ha-ha!

Have some possible photoshops for you, since I don’t have good software:
    1. Mad Maxine: Beyond Blunderdome (Photoshop in Maxine Watters’ face for Tina Turner’s)
    2. Maxine Pads: With Hope and Change Wings (Guaranteed to Leak)
3.Bridge Over Troubled Watters (maybe as Art Garfunkel?)

    Stay good, Bob!

Ha! Might have to use them, ROGUE. Obama approval rating at 38% now. Those damned tea partiers! Of course, this has nothing to do with it:

When Barack Obama took the oath of office twice on Jan. 20, 2009, CBS’ amazing number cruncher Mark Knoller reports, the national debt was $10,626,000,000,000.

That means the debt that our federal government owes a whole lot of somebodies including China has increased $4,247,000,000,000 in just 945 days. That’s the fastest increase under any president ever. http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/washington/2011/08/obama-national-debt.html

  3. I wouldn’t put it past this regime to stage a “lone wolf” attack. These people know no bounds and as you say; a cornered rat or ideologue is very dangerous.

  4. In the first hour or so after the Gabby Gifford’s shooting Politico quoted a senior democratic strategist as saying something like Obama’s needs to act quickly and deftly to pin this on the TEA Party.. Within a couple hours the media was working like a bunch of mad men to make that happen. We all remember what the next few days were like…

Napolitano, along with the Media have been predicting an event since Obama took office..

  5. An infected tooth and a root canal problem? Been there, done that. All that money, and I still lost the teeth involved. **sigh**

As for Obama not accepting any accountability, he is incapable of doing so, IMO. It’s been ingrained in him from his earliest day not to accept accountability. And he’s going to “create” a major distraction before the November 2012 election. Watch for that, but don’t fall for it.

Answer me this. What calms the stock market more, an earthquake or Obama speaking ? The day Obama spoke on August 8, the stock market dropped 600 points on the Dow Jones . Today we have an earthquake and the Dow was up 300 points.

If one listens carefully, and really not that carefully, Obama and crew telegraph their intentions. It still intrigues me that Obama and his minions do that. He was going to shut down coal, done. Energy would skyrocket as an example, done. He has not been shy about his intention of redistribution. Are the American people still in a trance since the inception of his regime?

I know, when the monster comes on TV, it is horrible, painful, like having a nervous breakdown.
