It appears that Department of Injustice chief Eric Holder, currently playing the Heinrich Himmler role in Barack Obama’s off-Beltway revival of the Third Reich, is going to have to take the fall for “Fast & Furious”, the administration’s illegal gun-running scheme that was apparently intended to facilitate the institution of further regulations restricting the 2nd Amendment rights of American citizens:
Working with the nation’s top anti-gun activists to divert attention from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives’ “Fast and Furious” scandal, U.S. Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), ranking member on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, held a “forum” on Thursday, June 30 to address what he sees as too narrow a focus in the ongoing investigation of the controversial program and by the committee’s chairman, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.). Not surprisingly, Rep. Cummings and his allies contend that Mexico’s violent crime problem is due to the supposed lack of gun control laws in the U.S.(Gun Ban Groups Hold “Fast and Furious” Forum – NRA-ILA)
Unsurprisingly, Rep. Cummings belongs to the left-wing Congressional Progressive Caucus, members of which are closely associated with the Democratic Socialists of America, the Communist Party, and the leftist Institute For Policy Studies, and are currently providing moral and other support to the “Occupy Wall Street” demonstrators. But I digress.
This whole plan was a way to try to fix the blame for the violence in Mexico on American gun dealers. It was a backdoor way to curtail the Second Amendment. There is no question in my mind that that’s what Fast and Furious was all about again. Get American guns, guns from American gun stores in the hands of Mexican drug cartels who would then use them in marauders and massacres and murders, other acts of violence. The regime could act outraged and shocked when this was learned, “Oh, my God who are these vicious gun dealers? How did this happen? This proves that we have got to have more gun control,” blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. That’s the purpose, but the whole story has been blown now. Unfortunately for Herr Holder, Congress is no longer stuffed with left-wing Obama sycophants willing to ignore any and all indiscretions and felonies as long as they advance the Progressive cause, and Holder has been caught Red-handed, so to speak, in the attempted Fast & Furious cover-up, frantically explaining his apparently perjurious testimony on Capitol Hill with the kinds of evasions usually employed by the shadiest clients of shady barristers:
Justice Department officials acknowledge that the memos to Holder reference Fast and Furious as an operation – but they argue the memos do not include details about tactics that allowed guns to cross the border. They say Holder understood the May 2011 question to Holder from Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., to have been about when the attorney general learned about the controversial tactics, not about the existence of the program.
This is not the first time, of course, that the firearm-a-phobic Attorney-General has been afflicted with a convenient memory lapse:
When he served as Clinton-administration deputy attorney general, Holder engineered the scandalous Marc Rich pardon by creating a rogue procedure that allowed the fugitive fraudster and his attorneys to appeal directly to President Clinton rather than go through DOJ’s regular pardon process…Despite the fact that he had interceded on Rich’s (and Quinn’s) behalf even before the pardon shenanigans, Holder told the Senate Judiciary Committee in 2001, under oath, that “Mr. Rich’s name was unfamiliar to me” (Holder’s Dubious History: The AG’s Fast & Furious amnesia is reminiscent of his Marc Rich amnesia – Andrew C. McCarthy, National Review)
The Department of Injustice has, of course, been corrupt since Day One of Obama’s “fundamental transformation of America”. Who can forget–lest they be a Democrat–the infamous free pass given the New Black Panther Party for what Bartle Bull, former civil rights lawyer and publisher of the Village Voice, called “the most blatant form of voter intimidation I’ve ever seen.” Well, why would Holder, et al, go after his boss’s pals? As Andrew Breitbart has discovered,
New photographs obtained exclusively by BigGovernment.com reveal that Barack Obama appeared and marched with members of the New Black Panther Party as he campaigned for president in Selma, Alabama in March 2007. The photographs, captured from a Flickr photo-sharing account before it was scrubbed, are the latest evidence of the mainstream media’s failure to examine Obama’s extremist ties and radical roots. In addition, the new images raise questions about the possible motives of the Obama administration in its infamous decision to drop the prosecution of the Panthers for voter intimidation.
[…] Somehow, the fact that the future President of the United States shared a podium with leaders of the New Black Panthers, marched with them, and received a public, formal greeting from their party has vanished from the history of Obama’s campaign.
This administration is unarguably Red, racist, and rotten, and the putrescence starts at the top.

Obama Travels to St. Louis for Money Laundering Operation (Conservative Byte):
Tom Carnahan received millions of dollars in loan guarantees from Obama for a fake solar energy company. Think Solyndra. I don’t think it’s as much money, but this is the money laundering operation. Tom Carnahan gets money from Obama for a fake solar company and then hosts a fundraiser for Obama? So that’s taxpayer money that Tom Carnahan got — that’s your and my money that Obama’s giving away in loan guarantees — to a fake solar firm, then he heads into St. Louis for a $25,000-a-plate fundraiser. He’s getting the money back. So what Obama has done, and numerous times, is generate campaign contributions that are taxpayer dollars.
