Leap Of Faithlessness

“I was known as the class clown back at Our Lady Of Perpetual Sorrow.” —Father McAndrew (The King Of Queens, Manhattan Project, 2007)

Obama: Jesus would back my tax-the-rich policy

[…] So what does the Bible say about taxes?

Not too much. The Bible is silent on whether capital gains should be taxed at 15% or a higher rate. Ditto for other types of investment income. Payroll tax holidays are not mentioned.

Pelosi Vows to Stand With Obama Against Catholic Church; Says Decision Forcing Catholics to Act Against Faith Was ‘Very Courageous’

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D.-Calif.) vowed today that she will join with the Obama administration in standing up against the Catholic Church in defending a new regulation that will require Catholic individuals to buy, and Catholic institutions to provide, health insurance plans that cover sterilizations and artificial contraceptives, including those that induce abortions.

If the great liar were ugly no one would pay any attention. Beauty draws, as does a pretty voice, people do not want to believe that they are evil.

It continually amazes me that these fools never know when to stop trying to convince us that they are not, instead, treating us like an ignorant mass of morons.
Granted, there are an incredible number of morons that do exist.
Beck had a sound byte on his show this morning of a college kid in a Washington state college interviewing his fellow students on history.
One of the questions was, whom did this country fight against to achieve our independence ?
One of the answers was ‘Korea’,……
Who is the vice president of the United States ? George Bush, oh I don’t know.
Yes left wing wackos, you have succeeded in the dumbing down of America.
Every history teacher that produced this flock of idiots should be fired.
It only exemplifies the fact that they all need to go.
The politicians and the incompetent teachers.
That of course gives anybody with even a modicum of commonsense the advantage.
I hope that they are active in the next election.

An edit to my above comment.
“a college kid in a Washington state college”. That was wrong, my bad.
      They were high school kids.
Some of them could not identify the two countries that border the US.
      Shameful.
Lady Gaga, they’re right on it.
      Sad.

      • Bob Mack says:

I’ve seen the ignorant collegians on Leno’s “Jaywalking” enough to wonder just who the hell passed these kids through high school…oh, right, it was the teacher’s unions, same ones that supported Obama for president…

  3. Bob,
You might be interested in taking a look at THIS.

    • Bob Mack says:

Thanks, AOW. Interesting that most of Obama’s ‘charitable’ contributions during the year his ghost-written memoir made millions went to Rev. Jeremiah ‘G-ddamn America’ Wright’s so-called church.

  4. Sherry says:

[Jesus] did not say, “Go and force others to do likewise.” Christian morality requires that charity and altruism be voluntary, not coerced. But in societies where socialism or a welfare state prevails, people are forced to be charitable and altruistic by the state. That is accomplished by the government confiscating money from some and giving it to or spending it on others who are deemed to be in need. Some condone this by arguing that “the people are the government.” If that is so, then it should logically follow that, just as people are not allowed to steal, even in the name of charity and altruism, then neither should the government be allowed to steal in the name of charity and altruism. Christianity is concerned with what is in a person’s heart, and that can be known only when a person is free to choose and is not coerced. ~Brian Farmer, from The New American

Obama’s full of the same stuff with which they fertilize the rice paddies, SHERRY. He re-discovers Christianity like clockwork, right before an election. The rest of the time he’s admiring the Muslim call-to-prayer.

  5. Freedom, by the way says:

They bring in religion when it’s convenient to do so, don’t they?

  8. anatheimp says:

Bob, I think you will be interested in the latest article I wrote for BrooWaha. I called it Voting for Obama is Racist. Sorry, there is no link yet but I Tweeted it.

    • Bob Mack says:

Thanks, ANA. Here’s the link: Voting for Obama is Racist

Jackson is more direct –“They wanted a black president. Racists that they are they voted for the man because he’s black, not because he’s qualified.”

Now just imagine the perfect storm that would arise if a white person had said that. It says so much about inverted racism, the racism of the politically correct liberal left. In the discussion that followed No, We Can’t, an article I wrote for the Daily Telegraph readers’ blog site in the summer of 2010, I made reference to Jimmy Carter’s comment that much of the opposition to Obama was on the grounds of race. It gave him, as I put it, the perfect crutch:

“If he is rejected in 2012 it will be because he is a black man, not because he is a rotten leader, a rotten statesman, a rotten politician and a rotten president.”
