Obama: Star Spangled Scammer

It’s the oldest play in Buck Boatwright’s Encyclopedia of Flim-Flammery—walk the walk and talk the talk, and you can get the mark to believe you’re whatever you say you are.  Hell, most of ’em want to believe.   But marks, like Democrats, “must also have what grifters term ‘larceny in [their] veins’—in other words, [they] must want something for nothing, or be willing to participate in an unscrupulous deal (David W. Maurer, The Big Con).  Well, no deal in politics is more unscrupulous than Obama’s Raw Deal, and no people more larcenous than the entitlement hounds  that comprise the Democratic base; but in order to pull off his Big Con—four more years of transformational socialism—he’s gonna have to rope in substantial numbers of suckers from the muddled middle and convince ’em to cast their ballots for a guy who, in a less suicidal era, would have been run out of town by the security police.  Obama and Reagan?? The only thing those two have in common was that they both peed standing up—at least the Gipper did.
