Happy Mother’s Day — Please Send Cash

Obama Campaign Uses Mother’s Day to Raise Cash | White House Dossier

[…] In an campaign email with the subject line “My best friend,” President Obama suggests to recipients that they “sign my card to her today.”

The message then provides a link you can access to wish Michelle a happy Mother’s Day. Click on it, and you’re presented with a page featuring a beautiful photo of the entire Obama family where you can fill out your name, zip code and email address. You can’t add a personal message – while Michelle treasures you, she doesn’t want to hear from you.

Click “Sign the Card,” and the thank you that you get is a new page hitting you up for a donation.

Better idea — use the cash to buy your own Mom something nice …

Liberal Dem Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand: Fund Pro-Abortion Group To “Honor” Mother’s Day…

“This Mother’s Day, I can’t think of a better way to honor all the mothers in the country — past and present — than with a contribution to EMILY’s List,” Gillibrand wrote in the email [all emphasis original]. “They’re the ones working tirelessly to elect the pro-choice Democratic women who are making sure that our freedoms are protected for generations to come.”

Honor a Mom, Kill A Kid … fund raisers for abortionists, “Emily’s List” = ‘Early Money Is Like Yeast’ — more like a yeast infection, in your editor’s humble opinion …

–Happy Mother’s Day to all you moms & potential moms out there–

  1. Some people are absolutely shameless.

  2. Bob Mack says:

…and shameful, I might add. Hell, with the anniversary of D-Day approaching, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Big Red One uses it to air more “I Shot bin Laden” ads…

  3. Robyn says:

Uh, and no one is forcing anyone to donate anything. It’s a prompt that comes up after you sign the card, because it is a campaign website, and every campaign needs donations. I don’t see why you’re calling this shameless. And until you come to own a set of female reproductive organs, I’m sure I speak for America’s women when I say that I really appreciate you keeping your mouth closed about what to do with mine. ❤

    • Bob Mack says:

You’re the one visiting my site, babe and, since I approve the comments, if anybody’s mouth is gonna be shut here, it’s gonna be yours. And that ol’ straw man (or woman, in this case) argument just don’t cut it. We’re not talking ’bout yours or anybody else’s organs. This is what we’re talking about…and on Mother’s Day, no less:

Like Reagan said, I notice that everybody in favor of abortion has already been born. But, since you personally speak for all of America’s women, I defer to your superior wisdom & experience. I leave you with one thought: Ya shouldn’t go to the dance if ya can’t pay the fiddler.

    • roxannadanna says:

this is the old argument: Men know nothing about birth and pregnancy so they should butt out of the topic entirely. It’s a fallacy and it’s feminist thinking at its worst (if that’s even possible.)
Gillibrand’s day should be called the UN-mother day since she’s advocating an anti-life site and donations to it.
I’m a woman with 2 kids and a grandson. I love them with all my heart. I can’t imagine the heartlessness of women who advocate anti-life. But women like you are the worst of us all.

      • Robyn says:

It’s not that men don’t know anything about birth or pregnancy. It’s that they are absolutely insistent that they control women’s reproductive rights. I will personally start performing black market abortions if you think you’re going anywhere with your campaign of pro-life advocacy in a manner that chooses to eliminate choices for women. I’m a daughter, a sister, and a graddaughter. Do I think that any of the women in my family, or anyone else’s for that matter, who have chosen abortion are heartless, or should be considered as “the worst women of us all”? Absolutely not. I think you are the heartless one for casting judgement about other people’s lives and the circumstances surrounding their choices – what about the victims of rape? What choice do they have? The way you look at things is in terms of pro-punishment, not pro-life. You are viewing unwanted pregnancies as sentences for women, rather than potential children to be parented. Forcing women to become mothers when they are not ready to or able to is incredibly selfish and would result in negative consequences for the “life” that you are so determined to protect.

        • roxannadanna says:

I hope on Mother’s day you sent them a card thanking them for not aborting you.
          Have a nice day.

Great blog! I’m telling you some people have no shame whatsoever!

    • Bob Mack says:

Thanks, ROXY … it takes overweening gall, doesn’t it, for the minions of Roe v Wade to be out proselytizing on Mother’s Day.

      • roxannadanna says:

It really does Bob. I’m astounded to see someone from the anti-life movement coming HERE and posting on MOTHERS DAY for cryin’ out loud!!!!

How Low Can Obama Go? A new limbo level every day!
