Fast And Felonious: Obama’s Caporegime On The Hotseat

With a contempt of Congress citation barreling toward him like the Heartland Flyer, Attorney General Eric Holder, previously steadfast in his refusal to provide Congressional investigators with subpoenaed documents relevant to the government’s botched “Fast and Furious” gunrunning scheme,  has apparently had a change of mind:

“I want to make it very clear that I am offering to sit down, by myself, offering to sit down with the speaker, with the chairman, with whomever, to try to work our way through this in an attempt to avoid a constitutional crisis and come up with ways — creative ways, perhaps — in which we can make this material available,” Holder told [Senator Chuck] Grassley during his Tuesday appearance before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

With Eric the Red possibly beckoning for a slot in the Witless Protection Program (“I have not been impressed with his intelligence.”  — Senator John Cornyn), Barack Obama’s ‘strategery’ of blaming this too on the ever-present if somewhat threadbare shade of George W. Bush is likely to fall as flat as his harebrained assertion that the U.S. economy is doing just “fine”, an idiocy blithely uttered in the spumescent wake of the news that Americans have lost 40% of their wealth on his watch.  Well, the general public may recognize Obama’s meadow muffins for what they are, but the Democratic Party peddlers of blue ordure who masquerade as journalists, in what is laughingly described as the “mainstream media”, won’t call them horse apples even if they step on ’em.  NBC’s Brian Williams and Kelly O’Donnell, for example, were knee-deep in Dem-dung when they reported on the scandal a full year after it occurred, inferring that the AG’s difficulties were the result of a GOP election season vendetta.  ABC’s Matt Negrin was even deeper in doo, specifying that “There’s little question that Republicans want to use the demonization of Holder as a political issue.”

‘Criminal as victim’ is a fraud that the Left has been pushing for a half-century, especially if the miscreant in question happens to be a Democratic politician, in which case the alleged perpetrator has undoubtedly and in all cases been the target of a vast right-wing conspiracy. As Negrin fantasizes: “…the White House may stand to be embarrassed simply by the GOP’s victimization of President Obama’s top law enforcer.”  And he disingenuously adds: “Holder has drawn flack over a variety of issues, most heatedly the controversial ‘Fast & Furious’ program that sent weapons into Mexico and are believed to be connected to crime, including the murder of an American border patrol agent.”

Some of Negrin’s delusionals who “believe” that the Fast and Furious weapons were “connected” to crime are the family of agent Brian Terry (murdered by an illegal alien wielding one of the firearms conveniently provided to Mexican criminals by the ATF), and Mexican attorney Diana Eugenia González Saldaña, who is suing the United States government and Eric Holder for over 50 wrongful deaths,

“including that of Mario Gonzalez Rodriguez, brother of the prosecutor the state of Chihuahua…who was kidnapped and killed with one of the two thousand weapons smuggled into the country as part of operation ‘Fast and Furious’.”

Unlike the supposed ’embarrassment’ that the sycophantic Matt Negrin theorizes will accrue to Barack Obama as a result of poor Mr. Holder’s ‘victimization’ by Congressional investigators, González Saldaña, in taking on both the Administration and the drug cartels, faces something a bit more substantial:

“I’m risking my life, my things, my family, everything, but it’s something that someone has to do.”

  1. “…President Obama’s top law enforcer”??? The only thing Holder has done since beng in office besides covering up the Fast and Furious scandal is sue states for wanting voters to have IDs and for trying to stop illegals from entering the country. The man is a racist, a coward, and a criminal.

Got this in an e-mail from Media Research Center:

As the Media Research Center has documented, the lack of coverage on this major scandal by the Big Three networks is unprecedented. Only NBC reported that the House Oversight Committee will vote on whether to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress for refusing to turn over subpoenaed documents in the Fast and Furious investigation. And only CBS reported on a top senator telling Holder in a hearing that he should resign. ABC reported on neither of these big stories.

How can the so-called “news” media ignore this major breaking news story and dare to pretend that they are not fully vested in re-electing Obama?

The short answer is that they cannot. The media are Obama’s loyal foot soldiers deliberately hiding the fact that Obama’s friend and committed leftist Eric Holder is stonewalling a Congressional investigation.

The media aren’t spinning the latest developments in the Fast and Furious scandal. They are simply ignoring them altogether! And they’re doing it because they don’t want to embarrass President Obama during this critical election cycle.

For the national media to act as propagandists and censors on behalf of the Left is unacceptable and they must be held accountable.

Click here to demand that the media Tell the Truth about Fast and Furious and stop covering up the Obama Administration’s scandals and failures!

The puppet master must be running scared. Any story of this magnitude would be a drag on the election. He is willing to sell America to anyone.

    • AFVET says:

How about granting amnesty to 800,000 illegal aliens through the DHS and giving them work permits ?
Obama just committed treason by ignoring congress again.

      • muse1876 says:

I would think that they will vote for Obama. The Congress needs to get off their collective arses and stop this hater of America. We will vote him out in Nov. Thank you for your service.

      • Bob Mack says:

An easy way to buy almost a million votes, AFVET … as long as a gutless Congress lets him get away with it.

        • AFVET says:

Couple that with the DOJ now suing Florida for attempting to clean up their voter registration lists.
Holder should be held in contempt and Obama should be brought up on charges of
I doubt whether this congress has the balls to do either, and if no attempt is made, at least in the house, Boehner needs to go.
IMO, we can’t afford another Boehner term as Speaker.

        • muse1876 says:

Obama needs the immigrants for votes, he also needs them to pay for all the Obama freebies he wants to give those still on the plantation!

    • Bob Mack says:

Sell? Hey, he’ll just give it away, MUSE.

      • muse1876 says:

You are right. I guess it would be better stated that he wants “his” people to sell their souls for their vote. Souls must be cheap these days.

    Good article Bob-

AVET Constitutionally treason is way to hard to prove, guess the founders remembered it had been used for all kinds of things in England- even disposing of unwanted wives, It was much easier and simpler than divorce..the beheading got a little messy

On they other hand they took a oath very seriously,, The constitution requires a President to take care that the laws are enforced.. It doesn’t specify just the laws he likes. Obama has violated that a number of times. There is no authority in the Constitution for the President to create law… Unfortunately Congress has a bad habit of writing broad expansive laws with a ton of blanks to be filled in by Executive Regulation,, Presidents have taken it upon themselves to expand that power considerably. Obama is the worst of the bunch

What he cannot to is use Executive Orders or Regulatory Authority to create a law that Congress has refused to pass.. He’s gotten away with it several times.. Boehner is spineless and Reid controls the Senate so he feels safe… Will something be done this time,,,,

Bob I’m running this at the top of my site… Thank you sir

    • Bob Mack says:

Thanks, GRUMPY. Your point about executive authority is exactly right, & it’s why the failure of Congress or the courts to rein this guy in is a bi-partisan disgrace. Secession is beginning to look better and better …

I might be wrong– busted my crystal ball years ago and been able to get it repaired, but it looks like Bubba may take a shot at getting Hillary the nomination, he’s done some stuff lately that hasn’t helped Obama at all. If he does it could split the Democratic Party.. If so it’s time to say bye to the GOP
