Zimmerman: Case Closed

“…the people at the center of power know urban politics, community organizing and racial consciousness theories and little else. Like some Third World communist backwater, we are being governed by men and women with no understanding of anything practical, but a thorough grounding in Marxism-Leninism.”

The head of Stalin’s secret police once said, ‘Show me the man and I’ll find you the crime.’ The American left reverses that equation. They already know the crime. All they need is the man … The left does not indict or convict individuals. It indicts and convicts entire groups. Their show trials indict individuals for the crime of being a member of a class and then convict the entire class based on the trials of those individuals.”— Daniel Greenfield

One dark night in the spring of ’68, I was pulling guard duty in a gun tower in Vietnam with a big, amiable black man from Alabama.  Earlier in the day, news had arrived from back in the World (i.e., the good old U.S.A.) that Martin Luther King had been assassinated in Memphis.  As illumination flares popped randomly over the outlying rice paddies and drifted slowly to earth, the big guy shook his head and said, “I hope them damn fools don’t start nuthin’.”  He wasn’t talking about the Viet Cong.

Sharpton JusticeI thought again about that long-ago night following Saturday’s verdict in the trial of George Zimmerman, when it seemed as if damn fools were suddenly popping out from under every rock in America.  I could almost forgive the rabble-rousing of reprehensibles like Al Sharpton since if it wasn’t for race hustles, he’d have no hustles at all; but when powerful politicians like Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid join the mob, a dangerous line has been crossed, one over which even Barack Obama now seems hesitant to pass:

” … we are a nation of laws, and a jury has spoken.”

For once, he’s right. George Zimmerman was tried for murder and found not guilty by a jury of his peers.  Case closed.

  1. Absolutely on target ….

Every American should stop and think what it’s like to have the DOJ, AG, POTUS and a million screaming barbarians screaming for your death.

It’s nothing short of exactly that.

  2. What was it the Eric Holder said when questioned about his failure to prosicute the New Black Panthers? “I have to look after “my people.”” Apparently he is the AG for black people and not the AG for all Americans.

Welcome to the third world, otherwise known as the United States of America. Soon to be the balkanized states of America. Great post.
