American Or Democrat? You Can’t Be Both

These days, you can either be a loyal American or a Democrat.   You can’t be both.  Not when every action of the Jackasses and their president is constitutionally questionable, racially divisive, and economically unfeasible.

By words, by actions, [Obama] has demoralized the country; he has thwarted people’s abilities to succeed economically; he has intimidated people from speaking out; he has trampled the Constitution; and he has affronted our allies and embraced our enemies. (What Animates Barack Hussein Obama?)

And you can’t cure what ails us by voting for Republicans — the leaders of the Pachyderm party don’t possess vertabrae enough to ambulate an amoeba, let alone oppose the pernicious axis of socialist politicians and complicit media.

Part of the problem is that Americans, as a general rule, always root for the underdog.  It’s in our national character. We don’t give hoo-rahs to Darth Vader. But sometimes sympathy for the ‘dog is sympathy for the devil.  Especially if the devil’s in disguise. Hitler was an underdog.  As was Lenin and Mao and Fidel and Ho and Pol Pot.  All underdogs.  All rabid.  And now we have Barack Obama, a ‘dog of the far Left whose rise to power has been entirely because of complexion; a politician of otherwise modest accomplishment who has spent his career biting the land that fed him:

Throughout the world, the Obama administration has radically altered America’s policies.

And disaster has followed. Never since America’s establishment has the US appeared so untrustworthy, destructive, irrelevant and impotent.

Obama Foreign PolicyTo advance his goal of empowering the Muslim Brotherhood, Obama pushed the Egyptian military to overthrow the regime of US ally Hosni Mubarak and so paved the way for elections that brought the Muslim Brotherhood to power. Today he opposes the military coup that ousted the Muslim Brotherhood government.

Under Obama, America has made itself worse than irrelevant. In country after country, it has become dangerous to be a US ally. The world as a whole is a much more dangerous place as a consequence. Nothing short of a fundamental transformation of US foreign policy will suffice to begin to repair the damage. (Resetting U.S. Foreign Policy)

Of course, the only way to transform U.S. policy is to rid ourselves of the man who corrupted it in the first place.  And talk of such is becoming common.  In fact, outraged citizens are shouting it from the top down …

The “Overpasses for Obama’s Impeachment” movement is suddenly sweeping the nation … now the group claims it has mushroomed to 40,000 members across America to become “the largest grassroots movement in the nation” in the few weeks since it was launched in June. (WND)

Overpass Impeachment

… and from the bottom up:

The talk of town hall meetings this month has mostly focused on health care, immigration overhaul and international crises, but one unexpected topic has found its way into the conversation: the impeachment of President Obama. At least two members of Congress – one from Texas and the other from Michigan – have openly discussed the unlikely possibility of booting the president from office. (Obama Impeachment Talk of the Town Hall)

“…when a president has conducted himself in ways that usurp federal law, usurp the Constitution, suspend federal statutes, violate the Constitution — that’s precisely what the impeachment clause is all about…” Mark Levin

It might be what the impeachment clause is about, but it’s not what the Left is all about:

David Axelrod lashed out against Republican senator Tom Coburn for suggesting that President Obama is nearing a Constitutional crisis and potential impeachment, calling Coburn’s remarks “way out of bounds.”

“He speaks to a kind of virus that has infected our politics that really has to be curbed,” Axelrod said.

Axelrod, of course, is representative of the real virus that has infected our politics, our schools, our media, and our armed forces: socialism, the creed that dare not speak its true name — at least not in America, where it must call itself ‘progressive’ lest it be shorn of power.

Democrats are socialists and Republicans are poltroons.  So what’s the answer? Maybe only this:

Hundreds of thousands of Americans in the streets of Washington this fall.

Unless there is another loud and visible uprising, America is finished. Though Republicans control the House, the leadership has made it abundantly clear it will not use the power the tea-party activists handed them in 2010. Instead, they will be play-it-safe politicians while America goes down the socialist drain.

The longer Barack Obama stays in office, the bolder he becomes. Much of the time, he makes no pretense at bipartisanship and is in full attack mode. Of course, he blames his enemies for everything that has went wrong. He finds no end of ways to manage that.

You really are being too kind, Bob.

Who gives a damn what Axelrod says, he’s just another Obama thug.
And that goes for Carl Rove too, a thug.
Axelrod has always been nested with Obama.
He was instrumental in destroying Obama’s opponents to get him in the Illinois senate.
I’m sick of Rove brandishing his ‘white board’.
I can think of a good place to shove that.

How many lies can a president tell before he’s given the boot? (

[…] The cold, hard fact is that Obama knows what he is doing, and he deliberately lied in spite of the public’s full awareness that he is lying. He hopes that by denying the obvious, most of the blind followers of his base will believe anything he says, even if he proclaims a sunny day during a hurricane.

But the key question that arises in all of this is how many lies can a president tell before he is ousted from office? If lying once to the American people is not a high crime and misdemeanor worthy of impeachment, then lying incessantly certainly is. And who, if anybody, is going to force the NSA to pay for its crimes against the American public?

Laws have been broken that demand a response from Congress. Will they act? Not as long as John Boehner is Speaker and Harry Reid is Majority Leader in the Senate.
