Obama: Sorry He Has To Say “Sorry”

My Bad“We’re talking about 5 percent of the population who are in what’s called the individual market. They’re out there buying health insurance on their own.”  — Barack Obama

“The latest is that it’s only 5 percent of the people, only 15, 20 million people, who are going to lose their plan … What if you shoot a guy? He’s only one person out of 300 million. How come it’s in the paper that you shot an innocent person and you go to jail for it? … Since when do you destroy people and it doesn’t count because it’s too small a percentage? … Every time he talks, it was a lie. The only time he told the truth is when you didn’t hear from him.” — Jackie Mason

Barack Obama and the Democrats killed the healthcare system. They got caught — Red-handed. Obama’s mea culpa yesterday was an attempt to get his fidgety accomplices off the hook before they have to face the wrath of the voters. Or before they turn state’s evidence:

The chaotic launch of President Barack Obama’s healthcare law has Democrats in Congress increasingly anxious about its potential impact on them in the 2014 elections and scrambling to protect themselves if the program’s problems persist.

Particularly nervous is a group of 16 Senate Democrats who are defending their seats next year, as Republicans will seek a net gain of six seats to try to take over the 100-seat chamber. (Reuters)

The man said he was sorry.

So what else does ‘Be Sure You’re RIGHT, Then Go Ahead’ want?

Are you going to begin to try to help fix the problem or just sit around whining, cwying, sniveling, and playing the sorry victim?

By the way, the President didn’t create or pass the AFA, that was an act of Congress, the only body allowed to make laws in this country. The President was under no obligation to negotiate a law that had already been passed by Congress. The Republicans wanted to rewrite the rules and force the President to enter into a negotiation over a bill that had been vetted, discussed and passed by Congress four years ago because they didn’t like the outcome. Tough shit. They can change the law the way it has always been done. Offer a bill that amends the AFA, get it passed by the House and the Senate, and submit it to the president to be signed.

The AFA doesn’t contain any provisions requiring insurance companies to raise their rates. That’s capitalism at work, not the AFA.

It was the only law in American history that passed with no support from the opposing party. Consequently, it was less law and more edict. You are absolutely correct, however, in pointing out that, constitutionally, the only way to change a law once passed is by amendment in the House and Senate. Therefore, you agree that all of Obama’s subsequent tinkering with the Affordable Care Act is patently illegal. Not a high crime, perhaps, but certainly a misdemeanor. Your critique of capitalism is laughable, however. Rates were raised because compliance with the AFA mandated specific coverages. You don’t get ’em for free, and Obamacare requires you to take ’em. Obama & you lefties own this turkey no matter how desperately you try to change the title.

I don’t know what you’ve been smoking, Enema, but you really need to cut down on it… and start wearing your helmet on a more regular basis! The doctors gave you that helmet for a reason. Those bumps you take on the head, while bumping into walls, are getting worse… if that’s possible. At least, I’ve always supposed that’s what affects you’re thinking; I’d hate to think it’s just natural for you to be able to come up with the absurd ‘comments’ that you do.

I’ve got a real mental image of the First Hustler signing ANYTHING that even remotely changes something that’s designed to drag America (ooops… typo… Amerika) further down into the cess pool of socialism. When hell freezes over and monkeys fly out my butt.

I hope that recent election in Virginia is not an indication of what we’re up against in 2014.
