Happy Veteran’s Day — You’re Fired

F TroopConsidering that a leftist pot head of dubious provenance named Barry somehow became the Commander-In-Chief of the armed forces of the United States, we’re probably fortunate that Colonel Parmenter, late of F Troop, isn’t in charge at the Pentagon, though some cynics believe that Parmenter might do a better job than the current title-holder. Pickin’s are slim now that Obama, at last count, has purged the chain of command of some 200 generals and flag officers.

“The U.S. Armed Forces,” asserts Vietnam veteran Joseph John (Captain, USN, Ret.) “have been under relentless attack by the occupant of the Oval Office for five years … We are being left with an officer corps that can be made to be more compliant, that is, exactly what Obama needs to effect his long range goals for the U.S. military.”

[John] said the Pentagon policy of repealing “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” resulted in the first openly “gay” “major military force in the world.” These and other “social experiments,” he said, have constituted “a massive assault to restructure the military mindset, destroyed unit cohesion, unit morale and is negatively affecting combat effectiveness.”  Physical fitness qualifications for “tip of the spear units” such as the Rangers, SEALs, Green Berets and combat infantry are being downgraded, he said, so “women can be placed into those units.

“Just when you thought the leadership of this government could not get any worse, it does,” said Medal Of Honor recipient Patrick Brady (Maj. General, US Army, Ret.)

“There is no doubt [Obama] is intent on emasculating the military and will fire anyone who disagrees with him,” said Brady …

Retired Marine Corps Lt. Col. Oliver North: … although “there’s a lot of dead wood wearing flags and stars … [who] wouldn’t know how to fight their way out of a paper bag,” a suspicious number of flag officers have been given walking papers by the Obama administration… (Front Page Magazine)

The same incompetent leftists who couldn’t design a functioning website in the amount of time it took America to fight and win World War II are constructing our national defense.  If that doesn’t send you shrieking to the fallout shelter, nothing will.

    Well said Bob.
The devastation of the ranks is ongoing, from the top down.
North is right in the fact that many could not find their butt without a roadmap, however, they are in charge of the troops that can and do fight the Nation’s battles.
The volunteer force that we have now do not deserve the current CIC.
The ROE and the restrictions on the freedom to worship as they choose along with the LBGT agenda that they are being forced to comply with will ruin the fighting force.
Honor and duty still exists in the ranks, however, many may choose to get out because of the environment they are forced to serve in.
Get out of the military into what ?
An economy that is faltering ?
Many have dependents that they are responsible for, so they are between a rock and a hard place.

    Enjoy Veterans Day Brother.
