Mandela Dead, And …

Obama Pays Tribute To

“In my country we go to prison first and then become President.” — Nelson Mandela

“In my country, it’s just the opposite.” — Bob Mack

Nelson Mandela is dead.  Too bad, I suppose.  For a communist terrorist, he seemed like a fairly decent guy.  And, since one should not speak ill of the dearly (or otherwise) departed, I’ll let old Nellie speak for himself:

  • “I made a mistake by being ejected from the presidency. Next time, I will choose a Cabinet which will allow me to be life President.”
  • “By ancestry, I was born to rule.”
  • “I should tie myself to no particular system of society other than of socialism.”
  • “If there is a country that has committed unspeakable atrocities in the world, it is the United States of America.”

No wonder Obama admires him so much.

      Ulsterman nails it:

If people were to have to take a drink every time Barack Obama used “I”, or “me”, “my” , or “mine” in a statement, entire nations would be passed out for years at a time. (Hmmm…might make the last few years of this presidency easier to take) Just check out the statement Barack Obama gave regarding the death yesterday of former President of South Africa, Nelson Mandela. Note how there is NO mention of the United States, America, its people – rather it is all about Barack H. Obama…

        …and so does Limbaugh:

“… forgive me, but if you are a low-information voter and you’re watching the CBS Evening News last night, you would come away with the impression that the important thing about Nelson Mandela’s death was that he had looked up Barack Obama when he came to town and had a picture of Obama when he died.

…The White House is publishing Obama photos about the death of Nelson Mandela, and everything the White House is putting out about the death of Nelson Mandela has Obama in it. They’re called “selfies” now, these pictures. It’s like when Rosa Parks died, Obama made a beeline to the museum where the bus is that Rosa Parks refused to go to the back of and he took a seat…”

You summed it up quite nicely. Best part we have two weeks to hear of him ahead.

Argh! South Africa’s still a racist state, just a darker shade of racist running it. Oh, & it’s also number #1 in murder per capita. A fine legacy for a communist hero. I can hardly wait to hear the outpourings of grief when Fidel takes the long sleep.
