Oh, Come All Ye Faithless…

Oh Come All Ye Faithless

“It’s Christmastime, which means carols, eggnog, mistletoe, presents under the tree—and choruses of liberals proclaiming that conservative complaints about Scrooge-like secularists are overblown.” — Carl M. Cannon

Despite the rioting of demented Black Friday shoppers and the cacophony of tiresome secularists caroling Sodom Night, Christmas is still my favorite time of year, as it probably is with a vast majority of Americans who find its attempted re-branding to the “holiday season” as offensive as farting in church. In my opinion, the Scrooges, atheists, and progressives of the nation should have their chestnuts roasted on an open fire, and slowly at that.  I’ve never been a particularly religious person, but the antics of all these left-wing maniacs are beginning to drive me right into the open arms of the Lord.  And nobody’s antics have sent me to the kneeling bench more often than Barack Obama’s.  Why should this Christmas be any different?

Obama-Christmas-cardThere’s been a fair amount written about the Obama Christmas card. It’s a pop-up card, which has an expensive look that’s unseemly as millions lose their insurance and millions more have joined the ranks of the perpetually unemployed. It’s colors are cool, not warm, which seems to refute the warmth that Christmas brings to people in the dark of winter. It shows a vacant building, which seems symbolic when one considers that Obama invariable answer to all the scandals revealed in the past year is to disclaim knowledge or responsibility. And lastly, despite going out at Christmas time and despite Obama’s claims to be a Christian, the card makes no mention of Christmas. (Bookworm Room)

After all, who could forget Obama’s Yuletide decorations of seasons past?

Obama Christmas DecorationBut despite it all, we’ve got a lot of things for which to be thankful.  Unfortunately, the current President of the United States is not one of ’em.

Merry Christmas!!

  1. Have a very merry Christmas, Bob! Get your batteries charged for 2014. It looks to be one “interesting” year.

It is exactly as he told Medvedev. After the last election, his final campaign, he would have more flexibility. That includes the flexibility to spit on Christmas by not mentioning it, black liberation theology adherent that he is, and getting a twofer by putting a drawing of his dogs sniffing around and “marking their territory” on the side of the WH, another American thing he detests.

To you and yours, “to all a good night.” (That’s code.)

  3. bunkerville says:

Have a Merry Christmas and best wishes for a better year.

  4. We should not be surprised that the Obamas’ Christmas card is what it is. During Ramadan, BHO is much more “devoted.” Pffffft.

  5. Mustang says:

    I’m grateful for Kwanza.
