Obama: Ramadan-a Ding Dong

It’s a mad, mad world when a former colonel in the Soviet KGB is a more reliable participant in the fight against Islamic terror than the President of the United States.  Of course, when said President hosts Ramadan dinners and shouts praises to Muslims at every available opportunity, when the s0-called Commander-In-Chief routinely utters such inane remarks as “America is not – and never will be – at war with Islam,” one could be forgiven for wondering just whose side he’s really on.

 

It is not out of ignorance that President Obama and Secretary Kerry are denying the Islamic roots of the Islamic State jihadists …  The Obama administration is quite intentionally promoting the progressive illusion that “moderate Islamists” are the solution to the woes of the Middle East, and thus that working cooperatively with “moderate Islamists” is the solution to America’s security challenges. Obama and his administration continue to support the global Islamist militant group known the Muslim Brotherhood. A White House strategy document regards the group as a moderate alternative to more violent Islamist groups like al Qaeda and the Islamic State. (Obama secretly backing Muslim Brotherhood)

But, as Iran specialist Clare Lopez of the Center for Security Policy points out, “The Muslim Brotherhood is a jihadist organization, from the day of its founding and remains so to this day.”

While Obama arms jihadists, Putin  goes after them: “We will chase terrorists everywhere. If in an airport, then in the airport. So if we find them in the toilet, excuse me, we’ll rub them out in the outhouse.  And that’s it, case closed.”

If Putin succeeds where Obama has failed, and the “caliphate” of the radical Islamists is exterminated, we will witness an occurrence rarer than the passing of Halley’s Comet: the Russian president will be more popular with Americans than their own.
