The American system of government hardly needed to be protected from Trump, who, throughout his four years in office gave away his presidential pay and barely had control over the federal Leviathan, filled as it is with disloyal left-wingers and careerist Democrats.

For Biden, there’s never too much control for Americans, and never too little for illegals
There’s a reason the left doesn’t want COVID ever to end. First, it became a pretext for blue-state officials to shut down businesses, churches, and schools. Now it’s morphed into a pretext for Orwellian spying on Americans and their every personal move. It’s all about control. At the same time, the Biden administration is also encouraging illegal immigration. It comes down to “your papers, please” for Americans, based on purported concerns about COVID, but for unvetted foreigners, never mind about the passport.
For the denizens of what the supercilious Left labels “flyover country”, there are only three options for dealing with modern Democrats: submit, separate, or fight. Maybe that’s all there ever were.
If one were to conjure an image that represented the conservative movement, it would be a group of middle-aged white guys grinning like chimps while standing in front of an empty trophy case. Conservatism has become a mystery cult that champions people like Mitt Romney and makes the “conservative case” for the latest progressive cultural fads…Conservatives operated like an electric fence, keeping sensible white people from wandering off into unapproved domains of thought.
