And now for some good news, at least for what I hope is a majority of us. From the Washington Post via Trevor Loudon’s New Zeal Blog comes word that an FBI investigation into the activities of various Chicago lefties with terrorist connections may lead investigators to the doorstep of Barack Obama, a Chicago lefty with dubious connections of his own. I’ve always wondered at the perspicacity of a country willing to hand its deepest secrets to any well-coiffed blowhard able to gain the favor of a celebrity-exalting electorate without the least semblance of a preliminary cursory security check to determine said blowhard’s trustworthiness to receive such information. In fact, of the last two Democratic Presidents, only one could possibly have survived such examination; the other most assuredly could not.
Former FBI agent Max Noel once told me that the Bureau used to investigate candidates for federal employment by analyzing Character, Associates, Reputation, and Loyalty to the United States. The first letters in those words make up the acronym CARL…
Bill Clinton fails the ‘C’ test and Barack Obama the ‘A’, ‘R’, and ‘L’. There are no CARL’s in the party of modern Jackasses, though you’ll find more Marxists than you can shake a hammer and sickle at. But…
As the FBI does not vet presidential candidates for national security purposes, we know there would have been no FBI investigation into Obama’s own background, associations, loyalty, and overall fitness for office. The FBI only probes those being considered for some federal positions under the president.
Any scrutiny is too much scrutiny for a leftist to bear:

With Eric Holder in charge of the InJustice Department and Barack Obama in charge of Holder, it’s possible the subversives may get what they want; but Holder is currently preoccupied with avoiding the fallout from the explosive Gunrunner scandal, and may not be up to derailing yet another inquiry. The Obamagate may be swinging open at last.
Be Sure You’re Right, Then Go Ahead 
Oh please let this blow-up in Obama’s face. The unions and other groups will be pulling out all stops to shut down this investigation. It may be up to us, the blogosphere, to keep the investigation alive. If you have no objections, Bob, would like to do a post on this come Monday.

Your FBI friend Max is correct. My family was interviewed extensively because one of our next door neighbors was applying for a position with the FBI. They wanted to know about any known associations with subversive groups. This was eons ago in the 1960’s. But the point was made …that you owe allegiance to the U.S. Constitution and show no signs of betrayal otherwise…or you don’t go to work for the FBI. I hope the FBI follows through on this and nails the O for what we know to be treasonous behavior against the Constitution and associations with those who have worked tirelessly to rip the country to shreds…i.e. Ayers and Dorhn..and Soros. Too bad this is coming so late in the game and didn’t happen while he was in the Senate.
I think we need that FBI litmus test from the 60’s going forward for any candidates for national elections. Hi, CHERYL. I had an NSA clearance back in the ’60s & it took about 6 months of background checks before they authorized it. They interviewed neighbors, high school teachers, and probably cab drivers & bartenders if they could locate ’em. Most of the lefties in Congress & all of ’em in the White House would never pass that kind of a muster.
As the anti-gun laws are imposed only on the law-abiding, CARL tests are only forced (TSA) on those who work heard, pay their bills and taxes and try to raise their kids in an environment that undermines them every step of the way.
