Ukraine: Back In The USSR?

Gary Locke caricature

“Americans no longer trust Obama, and for good reason. Worse, our enemies trust Obama — to do nothing … Our enemies realize now, the only real red line President Obama is willing to draw is through the words Competence and Action.” — Michael Ramirez

The results of having a feckless Marxist community organizer occupy the Oval Office for 6 years are becoming abundantly clear.  It’s as if, when surrounded by shrieking, war-painted hostiles, Tonto had convinced the Lone Ranger to “Just put down your pistols.  Let’s try and show ’em we’re friendly.”  It never occurred to the guy in the mask that the loyalties of his “faithful” companion might lie elsewhere.  Likewise America — at least the half of it that considers the results of the latest TV talent show competitions more important than stopping the incremental dismantling of their nation by a cabal of leftists. Current events in the Ukraine are illustrative of the point:

“The Obama administration has responded, so far, in a manner that is pathetic even by its own standards. After issuing stern warnings to Russia not to invade Crimea, the administration, confronted with the actual presence of Russian troops on the ground, philosophized about whether it was really an invasion, suggesting that a more apt term might be an ‘uncontested arrival’

President Obama himself, having delivered a limp warning to Vladimir Putin, decamped for a meeting of the Democratic National Committee, where he told a cheering crowd: ‘Well, it’s Friday, it’s after 5:00. So this is officially happy hour with the Democratic Party.

It is not, of course, happy hour in Ukraine, or anywhere else where people are used to counting on American leadership. The man is simply unbelievable.” — John Hinderaker via Larwyn’s Linx

Heres To You KraineAs Iran develops nuclear weapons and Russia and Red China drastically increase their military spending, Barack Obama has decided to shrink United States forces back to pre-World War II levels. Vladimir Putin’s totem animal is still the bear and China’s remains the dragon but the American eagle, at least during the (hopefully) final years of the reign of Obama, should be replaced by the skunk.  Well, maybe not.  After all, no prudent polecat ever unilaterally cut back on his stink.

  1. Yeah, he also skipped out after Benghazi for a happy hour or something. He’s not doing any of this; somebody else is telling him what to say. He is a freaking puppet. Those bows to foreign leaders were not designed to piss us off – he is a freaking idiot. He is an idiot bully. A dangerous idiot bully, in that far too many people in the military think they have to follow his orders, which again come from his puppet masters

He is a puppet for Israel. You stupid Americans are so cowardly to carry on pointing fingers at these White House puppets.

  5. Frank Marion says:

Obama staged a coup. It blew up in his face. You want WW3 over Ukraine. Madness!

    • I did not get a a clamor for WW3 out of this article. Rather, I got that this is what you get when you elect a community organizer, instead of a god-fearing patriot. Ronald Reagan defeated the Soviets without firing a shot. But of course back then, America hadn’t come completely unglued.

  8. R.Sooriamoorthy says:

The world has been too patient for too long.

  9. sa says:

I agree, we have no business with Ukraine or Russia, let them sort their issues by themselves. No wars for Zionist bankers we are tired. Let them go on it alone these Zionists if they are itching for war.

  10. hp says:

Pay no attention to the dancing Israelis on Kiev roof tops, sniping both sides. (wink wink)

  11. Bill Lee says:

    Stop fantasizing so hard, dummy.

  12. PJ London says:

Remember where Obama comes from. Apart from Mandela who rose to fame as surviving 27 years of rather quiet incarceration, has Africa produced ANY leader?
Mugabe? Mobutu? Amin? Charles Taylor? Nkrumah? Mbasogo? Eduardo dos Santos? Mswati? al Bashir? Why would Kenya throw up anything better?

  13. Freedom, by the way says:

If we (and our allies who co-signed) do not honor the treaty saying we would protect Ukraine if they gave up nuclear arms then there are worse ramifications. We will also be known as the nation that will not honor treaties. Do I want a war with Russia? Of course not. But if we had a real leader who honored and was not afraid to use American might we would not have to resort to actions of war. Obama is by far the very worst president our country has ever had. From his wimpy, non-foreign policy to his raping of US taxpayers to his stomping all over the constitution with his “I got a pen” cavalier attitude, Obama is the biggest liability the US has right now.
