The GOP (Gutless Old Party) is reneging on its vows faster than a serial bigamist at a lonely hearts club. Led by ineffectual swamp rats Ryan and McConnell, the Congressional Republicans are proving to be the biggest bust since the introduction of New Coke.
It is inexcusable for the GOP, which has majorities in Congress, a president in the White House, and widespread officeholders in the states, to fail on delivering on its most prominent and recurring promises from the past seven years. These Republicans weren’t sent to the Swamp to cool their derrieres. It might behoove them therefore, especially the distaff donkeys disguised as pachyderms, to stop hosing water over their ample rear ends long enough to remember just why the American electorate put them in charge in the first place:
